During our trip to Portugal we had several transfers with Amiroad Luxury Transports, their drivers are attentive to the road as well as their passengers. Outstanding 5 hour tour with Antonio from Amiroad tour company!
We had an outstanding experience today on our tour. Antonio picked us up at our hotel and was exceptionally attentive and most informative on our tour. He brought us to the Pena Palace on time for our tour and explained what we needed to do next. We spent 8 hours from the time he picked us up until the time he dropped us off. He arranged a wonderful lunch spot for us, which was throughly enjoyable. Antonio was so full of history and relevant topics that we fell educated and have a solid background in why Portugal is so connected to the past and so very relevant in the modern world. It is very clear why so many want to visit. My husband and I highly recommend the tour company and Antonio specifically. In addition he travels to tours in Spain and speakers 5 languages and is very easy to understand. Enjoy!

Antonio made our private day trip from Lisbon to Porto such a great experience. He was friendly, easygoing, and clearly takes a lot of pride in what he does. Everything felt smooth and well thought out from the start. He even made us a reservation at a lovely Indian restaurant in Porto, which we really appreciated. One of the best parts of the day was when he agreed to take us to Talasnal—a beautiful, historic village tucked away in the mountains. The views were absolutely stunning, and he took the time to explain the history of the area as we walked through it, which made it even more special. It ended up being a rainy day, and Antonio came prepared with six umbrellas for us, which honestly says a lot about how thoughtful he is. He also met us right in the main square in Porto, walked us around, and showed us where to shop. He was so patient with our group and never made us feel rushed. On top of everything, he’s an extremely safe and professional driver, which made us feel comfortable the entire time. Overall, Antonio really went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing day. We’d absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Portugal.

From the very beginning, our driver, Rui Couto went above and beyond in every possible way. He was professional, polite and kind and attentive —at one point, when my mom felt a little chilly while we were admiring the breathtaking ocean views, he took off his own coat and placed it over her shoulders.
He showed us the stunning Lisbon coastline, palaces, and took us to a place where we had a beautiful lunch overlooking the ocean. He guided us through incredible landscapes both old and new and shared the rich history of Lisbon. As an extra thoughtful gesture, he even bought us some of Lisbon’s local pastries.
What made this experience unforgettable wasn’t just the sights—it was the care and genuine thoughtfulness Rui showed throughout the entire day. By the end, I found myself tearing up saying goodbye. I could see in my mom’s eyes just how much this day meant to her, and that is something I will carry with me forever.

I booked a day tour from Lisbon to Sintra for a group of university students, and it was better than I hoped! They reported back that the driver had tons of great tips for things to do in Sintra and made the day really special.

Antonio is a great driver. Very personal. Very knowledgeable about the castles in Sintra. Took us on a side trip to the Westernmost point of continental Europe, which was beautiful. Highly recommended!
Sintra and Cascais tour
Our tour guide Goncalo picked us up from our Airbnb with no issues. He was very informative and accommodating. He recommended we tour the gardens at the palace. We were grateful because we otherwise would have missed the gardens and that was our favorite part. Goncalo was friendly and flexible. He gave us options for lunch in Sintra or Cascais. We chose his recommended restaurant in Cascais. It was expensive, but well worth it. Sintra and Cascais were both beautiful and amazing. Pena Palace was crowded. Probably no way around that.
