Alecia, the wonderful funeral director and her efficient staff guided us with warmth and quiet grace through our mom’s passing to her burial and beyond so every part of our experience would go as gently and respectfully as could be while allowing us to celebrate our 109 year young mom’s special life with dignity and joy. Alecia truly has the most comforting hugs ever and her sister catered our visitation with a delicious and beautiful buffet. Rainbows even appeared in a fountain at the center of the lake. I don’t know if they had anything to do with that or not.

During a difficult time, the people at Arlington Memorial Gardens were absolutely wonderful. We were treated with compassion and everything that we needed to know was explained in detail. When my Mom passed away, Alecia and Elizabeth, and their team were so helpful and comforting, while walking with me through the steps and decisions for the funeral and burial. They also honored my Mom with a beautiful pamphlet and recipe cards to give our guests. The video of photos, set up, placement of everything, clear direction of the path for our guests, willingness to listen, and readiness to move forward on our wishes -- I am so grateful to them for bringing some of the peace in our early stages of loss. They were very helpful in my many times of need. I have many family members buried there. The only issue I had was I wanted a Saturday burial for my mother, but they charge $800 more for a Saturday burial. This makes no sense to me as they are using the same employees and equipment. Needless to say, I did a weekday burial. Other than that price hike, everything was wonderful and it’s a beautiful and well maintained cemetery. I highly recommend it.

Arlington is such a beautiful cemetery. We have many relatives resting there. My parents have had four plots at Arlington Memorial for over 60 years. Our mother died 20 years ago and my father visited her regularly. The staff were always very supportive of his visits to the office, especially when he felt like the area where our mother was buried needed some attention. When my father died a few weeks back, the office staff were very kind and spoke so highly of my father. They also text me to let me know that they were thinking of me and our family and to check if they could assist us in anyway. . I want to the office staff and groundskeepers for their professionalism and for their kind thoughts and actions towards our whole family throughout these many yearsee.
