We found Americana Kitchen & Bar in East Windsor by pure accident— and wow, what a find. We had an unexpected gap in our work schedule this morning and stopped in for breakfast. Best breakfast we’ve had in a very long time. The omelets were unbelievably light and fluffy. The kind of fresh you can taste. Our waiter recommended the corned beef hash. Hands down the best corned beef hash I’ve had in 30 years. Honestly, the experience was so impressive that despite living a good distance away, we drove back again the same day for dinner. Dinner was even more impressive. Our server Sean was incredibly attentive and friendly, even letting us try their bread that's baked fresh on-site. My husband has an allium allergy, no onion or garlic, which makes dining out really hard. But the chefs here handled it beautifully. No shortcuts, no "you can’t eat here" vibe. Just fresh, intentional cooking. We started with the cheese tray, then enjoyed the branzino and the filet mignon. My filet was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the mashed potatoes? Best I’ve ever had, honestly better than my grandmother’s, and that’s saying something. From breakfast through dinner, we noticed how professional and polished the staff is— well dressed, warm, attentive. Everything feels thoughtful and well presented. This place takes food allergies seriously and still delivers incredible flavor. Americana Kitchen & Bar is officially our new favorite. Five stars without hesitation.

Food and service is good, but a little pricey for what you get. Been going here for 15 years, but switching from an upscale diner to an upscale restaurant was a interesting move.

Stopped in for dinner passing thru town on a road trip. We had Ruebens and an orfer of mussels. Everything was excellent. Our server was excellent. Very personable but not overbearing. We would definitely return when in town next trip. Great beer selection with tall draft glasses available. Highly recommend!!

Came for Sunday brunch - the food was good (my eggs Benedict were slightly overcooked, but I get it - I like mine runnier than most people) and the server friendly.
We sat next to the live jazz band, though, and that really put a dent in our experience. It was way too loud to hear anyone talk, and when we asked to move tables (to be fair, when we asked, our food had already arrived; the band wasn’t playing when we were first seated), the host said he would ask the band to lower the volume. It didn’t really seem to get lower, and it did unfortunately affect our overall experience.
I would go back, and maybe even for Sunday brunch, but definitely ask to be seated away from the band.

The Jazz Brunch was wonderful. The entire spread was very fresh, I got the smoked salmon Benedict, very delicious!
