*Updated review - FAIL - You just poisoned my husband with garlic and onion after the waitress was repeatedly told that he has a severe allium allergy. Tableside guacamole which was not prepared tableside - it was brought out by the waitress who could not follow directions. We explicitly explained the garlic and onion allergy and yet she brought out Doritos loaded with garlic, onion and Mexican seasoning to dip in guacamole - the same guacamole she was repeatedly told to leave garlic and onions out of. Absolutely ridiculous, we will never be back. The place was not busy, our reservation was 4:30 on a Saturday. Total fail. What was supposed to be a date night just ended at 5pm thanks to this place.
We found Americana Kitchen & Bar in East Windsor by pure accident— and wow, what a find. We had an unexpected gap in our work schedule this morning and stopped in for breakfast. Best breakfast we’ve had in a very long time. The omelets were unbelievably light and fluffy. The kind of fresh you can taste. Our waiter recommended the corned beef hash. Hands down the best corned beef hash I’ve had in 30 years. Honestly, the experience was so impressive that despite living a good distance away, we drove back again the same day for dinner. Dinner was even more impressive. Our server Sean was incredibly attentive and friendly, even letting us try their bread that's baked fresh on-site. My husband has an allium allergy, no onion or garlic, which makes dining out really hard. But the chefs here handled it beautifully. No shortcuts, no "you can’t eat here" vibe. Just fresh, intentional cooking. We started with the cheese tray, then enjoyed the branzino and the filet mignon. My filet was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the mashed potatoes? Best I’ve ever had, honestly better than my grandmother’s, and that’s saying something. From breakfast through dinner, we noticed how professional and polished the staff is— well dressed, warm, attentive. Everything feels thoughtful and well presented. This place takes food allergies seriously and still delivers incredible flavor. Americana Kitchen & Bar is officially our new favorite. Five stars without hesitation.

I am a foodie and a lover of brunch. I happened upon the Americana Kitchen in my search for a quite bite before getting on the highway home. This place is bussling, modern , but not super loud. There was jazz playing in the background adequate seating, and the staff is very attentive. This is definitely a must do restaurant with its great selection and cool drink options. We both had breakfast for brunch, but ti was well worth the stop. I recommend Americana Kitchen 100%. Just be aware it can be a little pricey.

The omelet we had the taste was awful. The rest of the food the taste was good but not as good as it says in most of the reviews. The desert was really good. Service was excellent.
