Excellent good value , well located hotel
A great hotel right in the centre of the West End of Glasgow. I was visiting family neaeby so the location was peefect but even if I hadn't been the location is still perfect. Close to the Great Westeen and Byers road you are surrounded by great shops, restaurants, pubs etc and a short walk to the fantastic metro to get about. My room was a good size, clean and very comfortable. It had everything I needed for a 3 night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Im a big tea drinker and I can honestly say this hotel had the best kettle set up ive ever had... really well stocked and a mug to drink from! I didn't have breakfast but on leaving every morning what i saw looked good! I will definitely be staying against next time I am up.
Excellent and very service minded checkin service. Came early, just looking for parking, but room was ready for no extra fee, unlike other hotels we have tried in Glasgow. Room/flat was very nice.

Fantastic location, just next to the Botanical Gardens and on the riverbank of the Kelvin river. They allowed me to check in early, the only fault was the electric heater, it takes a while to warm up the room.

Nice Room and Great Location for Glasgow West End
Visiting our daughter at Glasgow Uni and its a great location for that side of town. Includes parking which could be a real bonus for future stays. We booked a room in the hotel but were allocated an apartment in the adjoining property next door. Nice big clean room only issue was a slight smell of damp that had been attempted to be masked with some air freshener. Can't beat the price though way better than a premier in which would have cost more. Will definitely stay again.
The Ambassador is my home away from home while in Glasgow, having stayed eight times in the past four years. Every single aspect is perfect for me - location, comfort, safety, convenience, and an amazing staff who feel like old friends.

Great situation for the attractions of Glasgow’s west end. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Quiet room. We didn’t hear a noise all night. Hotel parking available. Friendly reception staff I have stayed in another hotel run by the same family and recognised the staff member
Enjoyed my couple of days' stay here, and the hotel is in a good area to walk around to do a bit of exploring, close to the subway, and there are loads of bars and restaurants around the area too.

Lovely overnight stay with friendly, attentive staff. The hotel is on a quiet street within easy reach of the west end. Beds were comfy and all the amenities we needed were supplied
