We cannot say enough good things about Alpha martial arts . I wish I would have found this program sooner for my son. This program has really showed him how to focus, believe in himself, and be respectful.
Words from my son is “he loves his senseis’, when he’s older, he wants to have his own dojo”. “ I have really learned how to calm myself and to show restraint. Martial arts isn’t about being powerful, it’s about knowing when and how to use it”
What a great Dojo we have found here so close to home. Just 12minutes from us.
I have been looking and wanting to find a place like this for both of my children, but especially my son.
Sensei's Adam and Ronda are both so great!
They are great about expecting respect and teaching the children how to be respectful to them as teachers and to their fellow peers. Sensei Adam is great at teaching leadership skills to the advancing students. Highest belt rank helps him the most during lessons. Allowing those children to take on roles of leadership. It's really great to see.
The classes are very fun, but demand respect in the way all us parents want. It's not a free for all in there.
It is American style jujitsu, but I really appreciate how Sensei Adam does incorporate some of the Japanese roots of jujitsu in his classes.
As a parent I am very happy with how the teachers handle the students. I'm looking forward to watching my children advance in their skills and grow in the environment.
Both my daughter and son have nothing but great things to say about their lessons and teachers and always look forward to going back. (No fluff side note: sometimes they do want to be lazy and say they don't wanna go, but then as soon as we go they are glad to be going and happy at the end of each class and thankful they went.)
The dojo is also great for adults and I'm hoping at some point I can make time to join some classes as an adult.
Our nearly 4yo son has been a Wolf Pup for the last several weeks. We’re so happy we signed him up! The class is a perfect mix of all the skills you’d want your little experiencing, from listening and following directions, taking turns, showing respect for others, patience, to all the fun kicking, jumping and running. They collect a sticker for their belt at each class and work their way up to the graduating colors. Our son is so excited to get his yellow belt soon!
I also want to mention the facility and staff. The facility is clean and organized. There’s also plenty of spectator seating inside for family to sit and enjoy your little while they bounce off the walls! The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and are great with the kids. They’re really putting in the work to make sure your kid is engaged, learning, and having fun. Highly recommend!

Our son has been going to Alpha since nearly the opening date. He is our wild child, full of life. Sometimes this is problematic in a more structured environment but the staff at Alpha Martial Arts is SO wonderful with every single child. They provide consistent and respectful discipline while engaging the kids in fun and challenging activities. All of the staff are so friendly, so hard working, and truly care about every single family that walks through the doors. They are a blessing to the community and we are so grateful to have found Alpha Martial Arts for our son!
My son started their Wolf Pups program back in June. He was having a lot of issues at school so we hoped this would help with his listening ears and some good structured “discipline”. Happy to say, it’s working!!!! We have seen a complete turnaround in him since starting the Wolf Pups program and I could not be happier. Does he still have bad days at school, absolutely. Does he have some bad days at karate, absolutely. But Sensei Adam and his helpers are beyond amazing with my son. They really pay close attention to each child to make sure they stay on task and teach them good manners WHILE having fun. They have different activities each week, so the kids do not get bored and are constantly learning something new. My son has even moved up to his yellow belt! Wouldn’t know what to do without Sensei Adam and his team. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for my boy and myself. Amazing place, incredible staff, everyone is friendly and so welcoming, even the parents. Love this place ❤️

My son started at Alpha for the 2025 summer camp. The camp was exceptionally organized, welcoming, and created an environment where my sons was excited to attend everyday. Since the start of school my son has been attending classes twice a week. Sensei Adam and Sensei Rhonda are fantastic teachers and role-models. Way to go Alpha family! You guys are fantastic! Highly recommend!!!

Coming from a martial arts background myself in Taekwondo finishing red belt- We absolutely LOVE Alpha Martial Arts Academy, the owners Sensei Adam & Sensei Rhonda, Mr. Josh and all the instructors. They are a phenomenal team in this school. I can’t even elucidate the happiness in my heart when I enrolled my son Sloan here. I’ve been waiting for my son to turn 3, as soon as he did, I gave Sensei Adam a call. I visited this school in person with my entire family last year as soon as he opened, but my son was only 2 then. On my son’s first day I was very emotional seeing how delicately Sensei Adam and Sensei Rhonda were with my boy Sloan. Sensei Adam never left Sloan’s side the entire class. Sensei Adam kept encouraging and comforting him on his first day. He held him, was so patient with him and even gave him the wolf stuffed toy to comfort him the entire class. This made me cry out of happiness watching how my son was being cared and loved for on his first day and every single class thereafter. My Mama Bear’s heart was crying inside so immensely touched and impressed of how they treated my precious baby boy. Since that day, this incredible school has impacted my son with so much; the values in discipline, obedience and respect. My son is always so ecstatic to go to class after I pick him up from school no matter how tired he maybe after a long day of school. He goes with a smile and confidence now. He also talks about Sensei Adam and Sensei Rhonda at home a lot and he’s only 3. I’m highly impressed and I vouched for this martial arts school. I’ve already influenced my friends to join in as well. I highly recommend this school 200%!!! They have the heart, values, discipline and a wholesome martial arts school. The BEST martial arts school in town hands down!!

We absolutely LOVE Alpha Martial Arts. I first found them last year when I signed my Daughter up for a one day camp for a school holiday. She had so much fun that we started signing up for the kids night out events and the summer camp. Everyone is so friendly and my daughter has so much fun at camp! Now that summer is ending she will be joining the wolf pups jiu-jitsu classes. We couldn’t be happier to be part of the Alpha family!
