Levi was very friendly and helpful, included a hand drawn diagram of proposed stages for work with quote. Service performed was quick and professional.
We appreciate you choosing Almco Plumbing and taking the time to share this! We’re glad Levi could make the plan clear and help move the project along smoothly. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to him.

I had a major plumbing job done with Almco. Communication was largely solid and the job was done in time with fair pricing. Would recommend. Levy was a good communicator and managed the project well. I had a large portion of my plumbing either replaced or lined (it was the original cast-iron), my tankless water heater replaced, and a whole house softener installed.
Thank you, Rekha — we really appreciate you trusting Almco with such a major project, from replacing/lining the original cast-iron plumbing to the tankless water heater replacement and whole-house softener installation. I’m glad our communication stayed solid, the work was finished on time, and everything felt fair and well-managed. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Levy.

Levi is an incredible plumber and knows sewer systems well. He figured out why our home had flooded. We had several other plumbers come out and he carefully and kindly explained what and why this had happened. I will use Almco plumbing always !

We’ll be sure to share your feedback with him. Thank you for choosing Almco Plumbing—we’re always here when you need us!

Almco Plumbing is the premier plumbing company in San Diego, we have used Almco at our commercial business as well as our residential unit for the past four years and there is no other company that takes care of the customer like Almco. Very professional, priced hundreds below the competition, and leaves the work area exactly how they found it, not like a job site for you to clean up like most other companies.
If you want dependable and honest hard workers, Almco is highly recommended.
Thank you, Tammy—hearing that you’ve trusted Almco Plumbing & Drain Services San Diego for both your commercial and residential plumbing needs over the past four years means a lot to our team. We’re glad our professionalism, fair pricing, and leaving the work area clean stood out, and we really appreciate the recommendation.

Bryan did a great job fixing my outdoor clogged drain in prep of rainy season. His consideration of cost was comforting.
Thank you, Wendy—Bryan will be glad to hear this. We’re happy we could get your outdoor clogged drain cleared out and ready before the rainy season, and we appreciate you noticing his thoughtfulness around cost.

Brandon from Almco is hands down the best plumber! He gave me an incredible deal and was super helpful, kind, and just an all-around cool guy to work with. If you need plumbing work done, ask for Brandon. Highly recommend!
Thanks so much, Jay—Brandon will be happy to hear this. We’re glad he could help with your plumbing service, walk you through everything, and make the whole experience easy (and a good value). We really appreciate the recommendation.

Thank you to Almco for helping us on a Saturday. Brandon did an excellent job and was great to deal with. We had an old water softener assembly that failed and began to flood our garage. Brandon removed it altogether and bypassed it using a pressure tool to crimp the pipes together rather than traditional welding near some sensitive electrical wires and drywall. Great solution at a reasonable price. We're very happy and highly recommend Almco Plumbing and Brandon.
Thanks so much, Craig, for calling us out on a Saturday—those flooding garage situations never happen at a convenient time. I’m glad Brandon was able to remove the failed water softener assembly and safely bypass it with a crimp connection, especially with electrical and drywall nearby, and that the solution felt fair and straightforward. We really appreciate the recommendation.

The best plumbing company to ever work on my home. I had a mainline sewer drain replacement project on a 1960s home with cast iron and they had the best trenchless solutions I came across (the sewer line was 70 feet across my front walkway, yard, and a lot of hardscape, so digging it all up was obviously not preferable). One of things that made this company stand out to me while researching my options was that the owner made videos of the various trenchless options in which he gave demonstrations with actual equipment on how they worked - extremely helpful. They responded to my request for an estimate very quickly (the online request option and updates via text were aspects I really appreciated - they seemed to be way ahead of other companies who still rely on phone calls), and an estimator was at my house the following day. Levi was the estimator and he was great - extremely professional and knowledgeable. He fully assessed the project (camera, locator tool to figure out the exact path and depths of the line) and he came up with a plan and provided a couple different options. He calmly explained each option, patiently answered questions, and he gave me his recommendation and cost estimates all before he left. The recommendation he gave (pipe bursting with brand new ABS pipe) was actually the less expensive option and it has a lifetime warranty versus 30 years for epoxy re-lining. This told me that he valued his company's reputation for being a respected industry expert while having the best interest of the customer in mind rather than a focus on upselling - that is what sold me on going with Almco. Additionally, when we ran into an issue involving large tree roots during the project and it sounded like excavation of the yard and hardscape might be needed, Levi came back out to evaluate things and devised a solution that avoided demolition - it involved quite a bit more work from the install team, but there was no extra charge - the original estimate remained solid. The guys who did the actual work were great, especially the lead tech (I forgot his name) - very professional and respectful of our space and time. When the unanticipated issue arose, which added a day to the project (3 days total for the project), they hooked up a sump pump and hose to our septic tank so that we could use toilets, showers, and sinks overnight. In fact, throughout the entire project they did a great job of minimizing the time we could not use water, which was 0 hours on the first day (digging holes), maybe 2 hours on the 2nd day, and 2 hours on the 3rd day. We didn't have to get a hotel or inconvenience neighbors or family at all, which was a really nice surprise. They filled all the holes and compacted the dirt really well, and they cleaned things up making the space looking better than when they arrived. Could not have been more pleased with a major home improvement project that nobody ever wants to do. I highly recommend Almco - after 20 years living in my house trying out a variety of plumbing companies that were simply adequate, but never impressed me, I am finally impressed. I found my new plumbing company.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review and for trusting us with such a major project. It means a lot to know that our team earned your confidence throughout the process, especially when unexpected challenges came up. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Levi and the rest of the team, and we’re grateful to have earned your business.

The overall experience with Almco has been great. Working on plumbing of a 76 year old home has its built in challenges. Plus the fact there were 2 remodels 50 years apart.
Nykola was great to work with and very knowledgeable and professional. The best part of working with Nykola was he always was happy and had a smile. We worked with others from Almco they were also skilled and professional. One thing we appreciated was all crews felt the vibe of taking care of a family heirloom.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're glad our inspection gave you a clear understanding of your plumbing system and that you felt well informed throughout the process. We appreciate your recommendation!

They answered our phone when we called and were able to schedule an appointment for us. Their plumber knew how to repair our toilets, how to replace the water shut off valve for each toilet and how to repair our bathtub faucet that wasn't working and water would come out of the faucet when we turned the shower on. The plumber was very efficient and knew how to fix things.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We’re glad our team could get everything taken care of during your visit and make the process straightforward for you. We appreciate you choosing Almco Plumbing and your support.

We got our shower/tub head and faucet repaired and replaced. Bryan was the most conscientious and pleasant person to work with. He explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions completely and with patience. He arrived with everything he needed and his work was done within the estimated time. He thoroughly cleaned up after himself and left no trace that he had even been here. He even provided me with his phone number in case I had questions while I was shopping for my shower head. After my initial call to the office, I only worked with Bryan and that made the job run smoothly. This was an all-around easy project and I had so much anxiety heading into it. Bryan made the process so simple. Thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing this! We’re especially glad Bryan could make the experience feel simple and stress-free for you. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him, and we truly appreciate you choosing Almco Plumbing.

0 STARS. Absolutely unacceptable.
The workers showed up reeking of marijuana today and left my home smelling like it. Showing up to a customer's home smelling strongly of weed is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I paid for a professional service, not to have my home stink like marijuana. Terrible experience.
