Was late to my appointment due to my three hour drive in the dark morning turning to four due to snow. Uptight and anxious when I arrived, the staff put me at ease and told me that my dentist had not arrived yet. She too was delayed by the snow. In a few minutes though, I was in the chair. My procedure was done expertly. respectfully and quickly - in about 20 minutes.
Highly competent and respectful team.

Dr.Dana Colston dental clinic is, by far, the best environment for care anyone could ask for in my opinion - they really listen to my specific needs and worries as well and I always leave feeling refreshed and at ease:)) Dr. Layla is a superb person foremost and an exemplary professional as well. All the staff are delightful. The approach here is either "hollistic" or at the very least "non-invasive" and Dr. Layla does the minimum necessary to help and the rest is up to you to follow her helpful advice - and on top of it all their pricing is pleasurably fair for Toronto. My partner and I have been going here for 5 years, and drive over an hour as it is worth it! They are not cheap but you get what you pay for and more. I have had many holistic dentists and Dr. Layla is above and beyond the rest!! Also the hygenists (Mariam and Jessica) are very thorough and caring!! A free awesome toothbrush and dental floss with your cleaning is also so sweet! All the latest in dental care done with real care. Love them! Thanks Dr. Colston and associates!!

I recently called them to inquire about their services and the receptionist seemed very unpleasant. It felt like she wanted to get off the phone quick. I was also given a different consultation fee quote VS what a friend of mine had been told previously. This concerns me especially since the front desk is the first point of contact and really sets the tone for how new patients will feel about the whole place.
Also, don't be fooled by their "holistic" marketing. Anyone who offers root canals are in no way holistic or biological dentists. This discrepancy in their advertised philosophy may be misleading to patients seeking truly holistic care.

No where is it mentioned on the site that they do root canals, but they do offer root canals. Which fails 100% of the time and inevitable health issues ensues.
I called in to make an appointment, I want the exact service that I AM PAYING FOR, NOT A recommendation!!

The people behind this place have gone to great lengths to make what usually is a stressful experience (this is the dentist's, after all) downright peaceful. This is reflected directly in the attitude and high level of competence of everyone involved, from the office staff, to the hygienist, to the dentist's team.
I highly recommend it.
