Absolute cowboys with poor customer service.
There was a miscommunication regarding how the fees work, and instead of an apology for the confusion and a polite re-explanation, I was patronised and near insulted in my own home.
Mistakes and miscommunications happen, and I expect a better handling of a situation from a professional. As a customer I will pay what is asked - all I ask is to be given some grace and respect, but unfortunately my interaction with the plumber left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.
It’s disappointing because up until that point there were no issues and we were happy with the quality of service.
From the way I was spoken to I would like to assume they have enough customers and don’t need anymore. There are too many other services available for me to fathom returning here.

All charges and details of the visit were explained clearly during the telephone booking. When I attended, I identified that the waste pipe was leaking, but I also found several related issues that had caused wider damage. Long-term leaks had led to mould within the boiler room area and kitchen ceiling, and it appeared that the leaks above had also damaged the kitchen walls, worktop, and sink unit.
These findings were explained in detail to both you and your brother. The advice given was intended to help keep the property safe, as the bath and surrounding structure were no longer secure. I also noted “Do not use bath” on the invoice to highlight the immediate safety concern.
With over 24 years of plumbing experience, I stressed that immediate action was required to prevent further damage or health risks. I regret that this situation caused any upset — my only intention was to ensure you were fully informed and that the property remained safe for use.

718 pounds for a simple toilet change, with callout charge that was not relevant
work scheduled for am 15/9/2025, from previous week. No show, no courtesy call until midday next day 16/9/2025, despite my son making himself available to oversee. Arrived within 30 mins, but immediately started a clock, despite spending time on the phone that was not associated with me. agreed no callout charge. Simply had to provide a basic toilet and remove the old. disappeared 3 times for parts. appeared disorganised, as was the inside of his van. Worked slowly, even with payment/invoice work. slyly added a 95pound callout as "sundries". I am an 88 yr old and did not spot that.

Excellent service!

Admittedly the work was expensive but we cannot fault the service. The knowledge and expertise shared with us as customers was very helpful, they went above and beyond and all the work was explained accounting for previous installation faults that required correction. I would not hesitate to recommend this service. We have been left with a beautiful new shower and tiling installation.
Plumber on a difficult job
I called a plumber to carry out what I thought were two fairly simple jobs. The plumber arrived exactly on time and clearly knew what he was doing. On investigation one of the jobs proved much more complex than foreseen. The plumber worked out a good solution and fetched the necessary parts from a stockist. It took him quite a while to get the parts and complete a complicated installation. Everything is now working well.
The plumber was at all times friendly and helpful. After he had finished he left everything clean and tidy. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber.
Booked in for two days in June with Will from Allerco Plumbing & Heating. Came to update some bits and pieces and diagnosed the issues quickly, and resolved it efficiently. I will give 5 stars when l update the review once Will has returned to complete the job. And Will returned to find more faulty workmanship so once again hero Will saved the day. Work hopefully now complete so here's the 5 stars as promised from last month's work completion this week.
What really stood out was his knowledge, clear communication, tidy workmanship - thanks for taking the tiled bath board, and a friendly attitude throughout the visit.

All costs are fully explained prior to attendance whether i have been to your home or not i don't know what the last engineer, plumber, handyman has done in your property and there for we don't know how long we are going to be with you and you are charged accordingly including time to obtained parts on your behalf.

Installation of new shower equipment
A very efficient and helpful service from Allerco. I've used them several times, and have come to rely on them for any plumbing issue. The cost may seem a lot, but this is London. Will always has useful advice about how to avoid issues in future. He copes well with problems that arise from poor workmanship from installers as well as wear and tear and more major issues.
