I worked with Allisa Lightman in late 2024while buying a condo in Little River, SC. As a buyer’s agent she brought her “A”game. She worked hard, kept me informed and ensured everything went smoothly. I’ve bought many properties over the years, and she stands head and shoulders above the rest. My parents worked in real estate and I had my license at 18 years of age. I’ve seen a lot of mediocre agents. There is nothing mediocre about Allisa's work. In my case, I was an out of state buyer with no local connections. She provided some excellent references for lawyers, inspectors and other services. She made an extra effort to get me hard to-find details. She was always on top of things and her attention to detail was excellent. But if I were to choose one thing that really stood out was her negotiating skills. She represented me well and negotiated hard for me. This is something you don’t often see in real estate with many agents just wanting to do enough to get to the closing. While I can’t attest to her skills as a seller’s agent, I have no doubt she would bring the same commitment to representing the seller as she would to the buyer. She just embodies professionalism and understands her role as an agent implicitly, and more importantly understands that success in her role is driven by truly representing the interests of her client.
