The Dr. and his assistant work like a well oiled machine. They are quick and careful and give the best pain free service that they can. The front office are pleasant and efficient.
2-18-2025 Follow up visit: again very professional and friendly. I was impressed that he requested another follow up after I have had the crown put in place so that he can see how it is doing with the implant.
3-31-25 Last visit: Dr Sun and his team always go above and beyond what I expect. They are truly concerned about the well being of their patients, taking time to give useful information and making sure that your teeth are in the best possible shape/position. Thank you so much for your attention and expertise!!
7-15-25 Dr. Sun was quick and gentle in removing the post op stitches that I thought would be rather painful. He always shows an interest in my well being post surgery by calling to see how I am doing and continues that same level of care throughout the follow up appointments. The staff is very attentive and helpful as well.

This was my first experience with a periodontist and best exam I have ever had in all my years of going to the dentist! There is something very calming about Dr. Sun and my teeth believe he has the skill to really help 😬. He was excellent at not just showing me the issues with my teeth but explained everything in a very easy way to understand him. And, his assistant was awesome! I believe his name was Nathan ( sorry if incorrect ) but he really was great in easing my nerves and also explaining everything to me AND i hate x-rays but the way he took them was the best ever. They were unable to reach Perfect Teeth to have them send my previous x-rays to them so what they did is take more x-rays and not charge me….how awesome was that! Bad thing….. they are out of network for me but Ashley was super nice in explaining cost to me!
Update: so deep cleaning complete. Splinting of my front teeth complete. My teeth and gums feel great! The dentist and his hygentists work awesome together. I always hate the feeling of gagging but these hygentists were superb ! Now wait 6 weeks and hope for the best!
Update: Had a cleaning with Kerri….. she was awesome! She was kind and funny and took her time explaining my maintenance plan! She was GREAT at giving me a pep talk!!!!! It was a wonderful experience with her.
Update: Went for cleaning. Hygienist was great. He took his time, answered all my questions and made me feel better about my teeth!
UPDATE: I put off a bone graft for over a year… finally went today. I was very nervous BUT wow it took Dr. Sun less than an hour and was no where as bad as i expected it to be! His staff is awesome and they are great at easing your nerves. His assistant worked great with Dr. Sun. The hygienist
Duke is also great. He takes his time and answered all my questions.. Ashely as well took her time to answer all my questions….. overall a fabulous experience. Dr. Sun made me laugh and eased my nerves so this is the place to come!!!!
I was referred to Dr. Joshua Sun by my dentist. Dr. Sun did a thorough evaluation of my teeth. Explained everything to me. He is such a nice doctor & the nurse was very nice too. Dr. Sun gave me a treatment plan & they called my insurance to see what was covered.
They take really good care of you.
The receptionist was very friendly & welcoming. She went over the whole plan with me & the costs involved. She made it easy to understand.
You don't come across this great service very often. I am so happy I was referred here.

Dr. Sun did an extensive procedure today. I feel very comfortable in his practice. Everyone is so kind. That really makes a difference. They take good care of you. The nurse gave me detailed instructions for after surgery & Dr. Sun's cell # if I needed him for anything.

I saw Carrie today for a teeth cleaning. She is so nice. She did a great job on my teeth. The whole office personnel are super friendly & professional. Always a great experience.

Today I had a follow up for a sinus lift & implant I had done 2 weeks ago. Dr. Sun does a fantastic job with my teeth. He takes really good care of his patients. He's always patient when I have questions. I highly recommend Dr. Sun for your periodontal needs. He's the best.
Also, everyone in the office (reception desk, medical assistants & the dental hygienist are so very nice & always so helpful) I really appreciate all of them.

Very impressed with the skill and expertise of Dr. Sun.
This is my 3rd time to remediate 2 implants and bone grafting, which were previously performed & unsuccessful by 2 different doctors earlier.
This procedure was exceptional in that Dr. Sun meticulously removed the implant posts, built up the bone in my jaw, & with great skill, sutured everything in place with much detail. I did not have any trouble with loosening sutures nor leaking out of the bone grafting material. He & his staff were thorough with clear & explicit post operative instructions, & are very attentive to my concerns & available 24/7.
They give me much confidence & hope that this procedure will be successful this time.
He is a specialist that I will keep.

Dr. Sun took the time to explain everything clearly, which really put me at ease throughout the process. I recently visited Periodontal and Implant Specialists for a deep cleaning due to a concerning amount of bacteria in my gums. I can't say enough about the care I received from Dr. Sun and Nathan, they were incredibly thorough and informative throughout the process. They took the time to explain everything I need to do to care for my gums and teeth moving forward. The entire staff was amazing, making me feel welcome and comfortable.
