I had an amazing 12-day Alaska road trip in Balboa, and a great experience with Alaska Stoke Vans! Randee and Eric are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure you have an incredible trip. Randee even drove out to wherever I was in Anchorage to drop off and pick up the van, which was very convenient. The van itself was perfect — smooth, reliable, and comfortable — and I had zero issues over nearly 2,000 miles. When I did have a minor battery question, Randee and Eric were instantly responsive and addressed it right away, giving me complete peace of mind. Plus, they gave me some of the best hiking and sightseeing tips of the entire trip — I followed several of their suggestions, and every one of them was epic. Balboa is outfitted with everything you need (propane stove, eating utensils, giant cooler, sheets, blankets, sleeping bag, bear spray, guidebooks, etc). The bed was super cozy, and I slept great every night. On top of all that, the price was affordable compared to other options I looked at. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Randee, Eric, and Alaska Stoke Vans. They helped make this trip unforgettable, and I’d absolutely rent from them again in a heartbeat!

This was an amazing experience! Randee was super friendly and willing to accommodate. She met us at the airport with the van and even came and picked it up once our time was done, which was incredibly convenient. The van itself was great, very spacious and had everything you could need for a road trip and overnight stays. I would recommend them to anyone!

100% would recommend. Eric and Randee were so good to me on my last trip to Alaska. They were friendly and professional, they had excellent communication leading up to and during the trip. They were also very accommodating due to some airline issues that I had on arrival. The van was great, I had Rosie. Very capable van for an Alaskan road trip which was thoughtfully outfitted with exactly what you’d need. The design of the interior was simple, which is ideal, and left plenty of room for storage and moving around. Great people to work with, great vans. Can’t go wrong with these guys.

Are alaskan stoke vans trip was absolutely amazing. Randee and Eric were great host from the time they picked us up at the airport to the time they dropped is off. The comfort of the van was just like sleeping in a 5 star hotel. We got to travel and explore many cool places from valdez to fairbanks and back to anchorage. I would definitly reccomend these vans yo anybody.
Eric is such an amazing and friendly person. Definitely enjoyed my time in Alaska. His vans will carry you to where you're going. If you're on the fence, book today. You'll have an amazing trip!

We hit the jackpot with renting a camper van from Randee and Eric! They were both so kind and accommodating. They promptly responded to our questions prior to the trip and once in Anchorage, they met us at our motel and dropped us off at the airport. Super convenient! And the van was exactly what we were looking for: it was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed to get on the road and into the mountains! Balboa was home and friend to us as we travelled to Denali and across the Denali Hwy this past May. We can only say THAT'S the way to travel!! The van was well sorted out (clearly something the owners have firsthand experience with), performed flawslessly, and provided the *perfect* way to travel wherever our whims took us, while feeling safe and like a hermit-crab, able to retreat to our 'home' along the way.

We had an awesome time in our Alaska Stoke Van! Eric and Randee were easy to communicate with and made van pickup and dropoff a breeze. The van (we rented Balboa!) was clean, well-maintained, easy to drive, and gets pretty decent gas mileage to boot. There was plenty of room for my partner and I and our two mountain bikes. We really enjoyed the van's simple and efficient setup. It came with everything we needed and nothing we didn't. I would highly recommend renting from Eric and Randee for your next Alaska adventure!

Had a killer time in AK!! It would not have been as great if it wasn’t for Eric, Randee & the Apollo van!! Eric & Randee were SO helpful to us. They not only answered all the questions we had in a timely manner and gave us a list of recommendations/ tips on things to do in different areas, they picked us up from the airport and also met us at our Airbnb on the pickup day which made it so easy for us!!! The van itself was AWESOME!! It was clean, organized and had tons of storage space! I was nervous about driving it but it is sooo easy to drive!! It sits up really high and has a big front windshield; perfect for soaking in all of AK’s beauty!! Thanks a million for helping make our trip so amazing! If we ever make it back, we’ll rent from y’all again for sure!! :)

We had a great experience with Alaska Stoke Vans! We got to meet Eric and Randee personally and they were very friendly and gave some excellent advice on what to do during our stay. They are clearly very knowledgeable about Alaska travel. The van comes with everything you need for a simple trip and works great for a couple. Overall, the van was less expensive than renting a car and hotel rooms. We would be very happy to rent front them again.

This is the first time I have never rented a camper van and it was perfect in every way. The owners were very helpful, the van was packed with everything a grandfather and grandchild would need, and we were told what we need to provide.
The van ran great, it was easy to drive, the instructions for how to operate it were easy.
I cannot say enough about it. The gas mileage was good, it was small enough to go into a normal parking spot but big enough for two people to move around inside. Maps, bear spray, cooking equipment including the stove were provided. It has shore power if you were in a camp ground with plug ins. If I get the chance to go north again in Alaska, I will contact the Stokes folks for sure. You will not be disappointed. They were exceptional people and their vehicle as well. Thank you. Jeff Budd
