We just finished an incredible tour with Captain Mike and Holland! We were fortunate enough to see 4 bears (a female with 2 cubs, plus a male), along with sea otters and eagles. Our time with the bears was unbelievable - we got remarkably close, but always felt safe and reassured thanks to Holland's guidance. Both Captain Mike and Holland had fantastic knowledge of the bears and other wildlife, sharing great insights throughout that really added to the experience. The boat itself was comfortable, and the whole trip was extremely well organised from start to finish. Could not recommend this tour enough!

We’re a couple from Central Switzerland and are currently exploring some of the beautiful and spectacular national parks in the U.S. We had an absolutely fantastic tour experience with Captain Mike and Maat Holland. Both are extremely friendly and know a lot about Alaska and its wildlife. They’re also very entertaining, which is definitely a plus! We boarded the boat outside Homer along with five other people and headed to Chinitna Bay in Lake Clark National Park. Along the way, we saw plenty of sea otters and dolphins—something you can’t experience from an airplane ;-) In the bay, we were able to watch several beautiful coastal brown bears clam-digging, and later we also saw some of them in a meadow further inland in the park. This experience was so impressive that we briefly considered ending our fantastic trip early, since it really couldn’t get any better :-) Thank you so much, Mike & Holland, for an unforgettable day!

Had the best trip with Captain Mike & Holland! They were very knowledgeable & a hoot! We lucked out with a super clear day & a couple of bears that really didn’t mind our group there. Bonus points for entertaining my dad :)

This tour was simply outstanding and well above any and all expectations! The boat trip over to Lake Clark was spectacular with amazing views of all 3 volcanos. Captain Mike was simply outstanding with great knowledge of the area, bears, waterway and park, first mate Holland was awesome with an amazing personality and made the family feel welcome! I would recommend this over any other bear tour in Alaska!

We only saw one bear but the trip was well planned out and it was clear that captain Mike and Josh had our safety and enjoyment at the forefront of their minds. Really great and unique trip experience for a great price compared to other bear viewing opportunities in alaska.

Great trip with Capt Mike across the bay to see the brown bears. I have flown out to see the bears and took this trip via a boat. The boat is the way to go. The boat was nice and Capt Mike was wonderful. Attached is a picture of a bear digging for clams. We were really close and Capt Mike kept us safe. I will take the same trip when back in Homer.
