This was the worst dental experience ever! My appointment was 10am. I was taken to the treatment chair about 7 minutes after appointment time. After a guy, I assume, he was a dentist, who didn’t even introduce himself, checked my mouth, they left me alone for about 30 minutes without any explanations. I finally got off the chair and went to the receptionist and asked if anybody would come to clean my teeth. One of the receptionist apologized and contacted whoever was responsible for. Another 5 minutes passed, I almost decided to walk away, finally the hygienist showed up. She was very apologetic but finished my cleaning at 11:00am. So I was waiting for my cleaning 30-40 minutes after my appointment time but she only took to finish for just 20 minutes. Seemed like avoiding delay the next appointment ? There were a lot of other patients for 10:00am other than me and they all finished before me. I was the only one left behind and had to wait for those people finished. I wasn’t happy at all. I did not feel like they respected my appointment hour and took time to take care of my teeth, rather this hygienist rushed to finish. This was my 2nd time to clean my teeth with this dental office. They also canceled and rescheduled my first appointment in a last minutes, an appointment morning, because the hygienist could not come in. I was ready to leave my place for an appointment when they texted me.
They impose the big penalties to the patients if the patients are delay or doesn’t show up, however, when they mistreats the patients, it is just “oh sorry”.
When I was leaving the treatment cubical, the young guy (probably some sort of dental technician ?) was staring at me for some reasons. It was just a rude stare.
I was very disappointed and had to share my experiences with my co workers at work after my appointment. Some of my co workers told me about this dental office so that I started make an appointment.

Best positive vibe you could ever find at a dental care place. Definitely full of aloha and care! They helped me from the phone call to leaving with so much kindness! The dentist was so cool and explained everything and made my experience a great one! Everyone should try Ala Moana Dental care! I am thrilled I found them! Also, you can’t beat their hours.
