Ash came highly recommended from friends and I can see why. We were able to pretty much work together completely online, pay with card, with only 1 house visit for some measurements.
During the work days the crew worked really hard and effectively helping me understand the system they were installing and even calling attention to shortcomings I had in my existing system.
It's been 2 days since install and today is an awful storm and my entire house is finally comfy. Even a bonus room that's usually 10 degrees cooler than everywhere else is usable again!!
Thank you Ash and co!
Alakai Air installed a Mitsubishi tri-zone ductless heat pump in our newly built home in Bothell. Ashley was professional, kept the install clean, and walked us through each zone's controls. The system runs quiet and keeps every room comfortable. Highly recommend Alakai Air for Mitsubishi heat pump installation in Snohomish County.
Awesome straightforward service with a touch of aloha. Always great to connect with others from home 🌸 My furnace was approaching end of life so I was being proactive on getting it changed out. Ash was quick to answer all of my questions since my HVAC knowledge is minimal. He explained the process, kept in constant contact with updates, and quoted a very fair price. Very knowledgeable about HVAC systems residential and commercial. On installation day, everything went very smoothly and I am now fully prepared for the changing of the seasons! I highly recommend that you reach out to Alaka’i Air for your home or business repair. Trust me, totally worth it!!
Mahalo Alaka’i Air. I appreciate you! 😁
Alakai Air did a fantastic job on our heat pump maintenance. We hadn’t had a tune-up in a while and noticed our system wasn’t heating as evenly as it used to. They came out, walked us through the whole heat pump maintenance checklist, cleaned the coils, checked refrigerant levels, and had everything running smoothly again. Great to find a reliable HVAC contractor here in Snohomish County who’s thorough and explains what they’re doing. Highly recommend for anyone needing heat pump service in Lake Stevens or the surrounding area.”
If there was 10 stars we would give it. Ash was timely, professional, knowledgeable, highly recommend this Company. We will definitely be referring and hiring this company again.
The best customer service I’ve received from a company! Ash the owner went out of his way to replace our old unit on short notice in the recent heat. He did so faster than expected and even fixed original install issues from a different company that did our old failed
unit. He does his work with integrity and is such a nice guy as well! Our family is so happy we chose Alakaiair!
Excellent company with great prices and second to none customer service.
Ash is a Badass!!! Honest, fair, knowledgeable. Everything you could ever want in your HVAC guy.
Ash quickly diagnosed our AC problem and had it fixed in a few hours on the hottest day of the summer. He was kind, professional, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
I had an emergency AC repair and Alaka'i responded without issue. Ash arrived and was able to find the issue and fix it quickly. I will be using and recommending Ash and Alaka'i Air for any future HVAC work i have done. Thank you for thed quick response and solid work.

I hired Alaka’i Air to install a heat pump and thermostat at our house that had an existing electric furnace. Ash came out and recommended a nice Bosch heat pump unit that we paired with a Honeywell Pro thermostat and I love it. Even though he ran into a slight hiccup (ran out of gas for brazing) mid day, he ran to the supply house and wrapped up the same day rather than extending the job (which I appreciated). He arrived on time, courteous, nice to talk to, and an all around joy to work with.
