Love it! Thank you for the review and for sharing your beautiful photos!
False advertising!!!
They say their doors off helicopter tour is a favorite for photographers but then they won't let you bring a camera!.......
Only a cellphone. Can't trust a company that uses false advertising.
Photographers I just found a company that will allow photography with a doorless Helicopter, Go Fly Maui Helicopters

Aloha Brian we have communicated back and forth with you via email for the past two days with you questioning our rules on the doors off flight. Your first email you explained you understood why we have this rule for safety but then continued to try to convince us to let you bring your camera since you are a photographer. It is clearly stated everywhere that only the cell phone is allowed. No exceptions. Period. This is our company policy and for safety we have had this rule in place for our doors off tour for almost 10 years with no exceptions for anyone.
It is a real disappointment that you didn't even actually experience a flight with our company to merritt writing a review. I understand your frustrated but in this case not even a 1 star review will convince us change our policies. That said I will have our website changed to not make it seem misleading so thank you for pointing that out. It should be stated that this tour is a favorite for photography (not photographers) because of the unobstructed views. You can get great photos with a cell phone which is why this is such a popular tour. I hope you enjoy your flight with Go Fly Maui; they are a wonderful company.

Thank you so much for the review Nicole!
The tour was great if you haven't done any helicopter tours on other islands - ESPECIALLY Kauai. There is absolutely no comparison to the breathtaking napali coast and I *do* feel like based on my privilege of doing a kauai tour and unfortunately comparing the two this was a waste of money and time. I wish I hadn't done it. I did the doors off and paid $1,000. My cousin who's never been in a helicopter and is from Sweden was underwhelmed as well. I made the stupid mistake of thinking that because we were doing molokai we would see molokini crater and that's the only reason I kept the booking. We did not. At all. I am sad that I spent this money because we are on a budget. If you've never been on a tour please ignore this review as obviously everyone else likes it. But for me I am regretting it and really could have used that money somewhere else. I wish I could get a refund.

Thank you for your honest review of your personal experience based on what you had done before. Although I don’t feel your disappointment is a reflection of our company we do completely understand the value of hard earned money and apologize you felt the experience to be not worth it for you.

Beautiful, exciting and worth the cost
This was a beautiful experience with Pilot Kirk. He was highly educated on the area and piloting and made our trip. We recommend taking this tour. All the staff at Air Maui are pleasant and helpful. A must do!!

Awesome
We had a wonderful time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The staff were organized and knowledgeable. The views were breathtaking. The weight requirements do not make sense. But overall, an awesome experience.

Mahalo for the review and feedback. Body weights are very important for weights and balances of the aircraft so any questions regarding the weight restrictions feel free to reach out to us directly and we are more than happy to help explain! Thank you for flying doors off with us!

You only live once - do the tour!
Our Air Maui doors-off helicopter tour was an incredible experience! The staff provided exceptional service from start to finish, and our pilot, Richie, was amazing. He shared tons of interesting details along the way and kept us laughing with his dad jokes. I did get motion sick, but thankfully never got sick enough to throw up. Our only disappointment was that the tour video didn’t work that day due to the weather. Overall, an unforgettable experience and absolutely worth doing!

10000/10 Experience!
I personally pushed for this tour for my family of 4 (me included) because I had seen so many great reviews. Richie did not disappoint my parents were shocked by the views and we heard so many stories from Richie's life and family! Oh and I know it's a 7-person helicopter (with the pilot) but they gave us 2 seats that were at the end (party of 4) and the other party (party of 2) had one end seat and they were seated in front. We all had great views my parents were in the middle and they loved it! They actually appreciated being blocked from the wind so do not let that deter you! 10000/10 recommend this tour! I know it's pricey but it's so worth it! Trust me you will remember this for the rest of your life!

Mahalo for the review!
Nathan was an excellent captain! We did the doors off tour and paid for the front seats which was worth the extra cost. Best travel experience I’ve ever done in my life.
