Joe Martino came out for an inspection of a noise and a annual service call . He pointed out what was needed and why . He upgraded the compressor “Startup capacitor” , checked the drains ,replaced the UV light and suggested a evaporator coil cleaning. Took lots of pictures and had a crew come back 3 days later to clean the evaporator coil. A/C is running smooth . Thanks Air Docs

Think twice before using Air Docs A/C company. I forgot an old lesson: when something look too good to be true it probably is. They offered me a $29 A/C service maintenance call . I have 2 unites so $58 for both unites. We set a date, I took off that day and in the morning they call me and postpone it, saying they have some more urgent calls, no respect for my time. I asked them what if I have an emergency on my A/C? they said they will be able to come that day but they will charge $89 for diagnostic. We set an appointment few days later. The technician came and told me that one of the unit need a new blow motor. I have a full labor and part warranty from the MFR. but they charge me diagnostic charge off $89 + $ 150 what they call "processing fee" which is a simple money grab. Sound to me to me like a form of classic bait and switch technique.( they came the flowing week and change the motor it took the technician only 15 minutes sharp to replace the motor, they got $150 from the MFG as Josh told me + $150 +$89 from me total =$389.) As far as the 2nd unit it was working perfectly well before they "serviced it" 2 hours after the technician left the system shut down and I noticed that the pan below the system which was bone dry was full of water water the technician said that I need a new drain line which they will charge $1000, Called other companies and replacing a drain line run $500-$800. I did pay them the $ 150 "grab money" at the day of service but they called me already 3 times to pay it.
I called Tracy Steele Air Conditioning.Turned out that the drain line didn't needed any replacement but just a correct way to open the clog. Saved me $1000.
Just remember when something look too good to be true with Air-Docs it is is. Don't fall for their $29/$39 bait, you will pay dearly later.
Air Docs came out to fix a warranty issue. No charge to us. Always fast and courteous.
