My first time flying my drone (which I need to learn quickly for a work project). Mike showed me the basics, and got me handling the drone as quickly as possible. I practiced several manoeuvres under his guidance. Still lots to practice and learn, but he gave me the confidence to do so at my own pace. We only dived into menus when needed, and when I asked about specific features, rather than risking brain fatigue by explaining every last detail. In all, perfectly pitched for what I needed. I booked a drone experience day for my partner's birthday. On a beautiful morning in the Cotswolds Mike took us from complete novices to flying confidently. It was such a fun day and Mike was the perfect host and instructor. I would highly recommend him to anyone who like ourselves, is interested in operating and owning a drone. Thanks for everything!!

Recently used Aircam Drone Services to capture aerial video & photography of a commercial property we are marketing. Mike replied straight away and was available to film last week at short notice. Communication was easy and the footage Mike captured was excellent, would definitely recommend.

Westonbirt Arboretum 2020.08.28

     

We used Heliexpert to capture the canopy of Silk Wood at Westonbirt, the National Arboretum. Chalara ash dieback is a disease that is effecting ash trees across the world. We have been monitoring the disease for a few years and we have reached the sad stage where our native ash trees have to be clear felled. This is a huge task which will alter the way Silk Wood will look forever. We asked Heliexpert to help capture before footage so we have a historical record of how the landscape looked. Mike has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Prompt communication, reliable and knowledgeable. He took a great interest in our plans and took the time to really understand what a huge transformation this will be for us and in doing so made sure he captured everything to perfection. We would highly recommend Heliexpert and look forward to working together to capture the story of Silk Wood from felling to re planting.
