A huge thank you to Air Born for helping me get my club pilot. Alex and Carina are the perfect duo, and worked so hard to get us flying and ground handling in the best available conditions. The classroom theory was really thorough and they were happy to answer and discuss any questions I had. Their flying equipment was basically brand new, I think I must’ve been one of the first to fly the glider! I would highly recommend them!
Flying with magnificent birds of prey in the mountains and valleys of Andalucia was simply magical. Thanks to Alex and Carina for sharing your expertise and love of paragliding and for motivating, pushing and picking me up to fulfill my Quixotic adventure.

I recently completed the Club Pilot Course with Airborne Paragliding Málaga, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
With some prior paragliding experience, they tailored the course to my needs, allowing me to complete it in just 9 days. I’m very grateful for their flexibility and personal approach throughout the training.
Carina and Alex are outstanding instructors! Professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about teaching. The theory classes are extremely well structured and easy to follow, giving you a solid understanding of the sport.
One of the best parts of the course was flying at multiple sites across Andalusia. The scenery is stunning, and each location offers a unique flying experience.
Weather can sometimes be a challenge, but the team works incredibly hard to make the most of every flyable opportunity and ensure you get the best possible experience. The accommodation was great and even included a swimming pool!
The time flies by here. Between the excellent instruction, beautiful flying sites, and friendly atmosphere, it was an unforgettable experience that I'd highly recommend to anyone looking to learn or improve their paragliding skills.

I completed my first paragliding course at this school and I’m absolutely thrilled! The instructors are incredibly patient — they explain everything as many times as you need, without a hint of frustration. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming from day one. They’re attentive to every student and to the smallest details — nothing gets overlooked, and everything is spot-on when it comes to safety and technique.
They made my dream come true — I can fly! Huge thanks to the whole team. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to soar through the skies. 🪂

Ich war 2 Wochen lang in der Gleitschirmschule und habe bei Carina und Alex den Combikurs gemacht. Beide waren sehr zuverlässig und Sicherheit stand bei ihnen an erster Stelle. Die Kommunikation auf Englisch hat auch ohne Probleme funktioniert.
Ich würde immer wieder bei ihnen meinen Kurs machen

A great experience from start to finish. Carina and Alex took care of everything, all transportation and accommodation. They even took us to do our shopping! They certainly went the extra mile. They made the theory and practical, easy to follow and apply, and always delivered with a smile. I struggled with some of the practical, due in part to being older and not as agile as the youngsters!! However, they both gently encouraged me to keep trying. I am so glad they did, because I improved sufficiently to fly from Algodanales. Amazing! Flying silently and seeing the countryside from a birds eye view was just fantastic. Thank you both, Carina & Alex for everything.

I spent a week with air born in April and I had a great time . The organization level was high , service mindset is top.
Carina and Alex made sure that we find a suitable flying site despite the challenging weather . They showed great care and professionalism at all stages and time . I highly recommend learning and flying with them .

Alex et Karina sont très disponibles et attentifs. C’est un accompagnement sur mesure vraiment personnalisé. Ils assurent les navettes AirPort, ce qui est bien pratique. À refaire sans hesitation ( en programmant une semaine de conditions météo réunies chaque jour 😉😂)

I just completed a two-week paragliding course in Teba, and it's easily one of the most gratifying learning experiences I've had.
Alejandro and Carina are outstanding instructors — knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely invested in each student's progress. What stood out most was their individualised approach: they read where you are, adapt their coaching accordingly, and move at a pace that builds real confidence rather than just ticking boxes. Their patience, across varying skill levels and conditions, never wavered.
The school has access to four different flying sites around Teba, which makes a real difference. Each site offers a distinct experience — different terrain, exposure, and character — and the variety keeps the learning rich throughout the course. It also means that when wind or weather make one site unflyable, there's almost always a viable alternative. Over two weeks, we barely lost a session, which says a lot about how well the school is set up. Hats off to the indefatigable team for keeping the longer drives always cheery!
Beyond the technical side, there's a real club spirit here. The camaraderie that exists between the members and that develops between students feels natural and genuine, and after a few flights the students really feel they have become a part of the community.
Most importantly, I came away with a true understanding of and appreciation for free flight — not just the mechanics, but also the sensations and the community around it.
If you're looking for a serious, caring, and well-organised paragliding school, Air Born in Teba is hard to beat.
