The screen that I used to sign in (by the check-in desk) was a little under sensitive at times and at others too sensitive. This made it difficult and frustrating to sign in.
Aside from that the wait was a bit long...but everyone was pleasant.
The Doctor was particularly kind and friendly, making sure to ask if I had any questions and getting me a cup of water at my request, since I left mine at home.

Final update: Got everything squared away in July 2025. Hopefully this was a learning experience and Dr. G will be more present and get proper billing staff. Just keep an eye on your bills.
Updating my review as of 7/28/2025. I had a DOS 06/26/2024 that I overpaid my copay so I reached out to the billing guy Adam and instead of refunding $25 he refunded the $50. So got a notification 06/2025 and I paid it. Then today I get another notification that I owe more. So I leave Adam a message but Shannon reaches out to me and says she took over billing. She is a nice person (interacted with her when I went in July 2025 for my eye), but she is CLUELESS with billing. If Adam was screwing things up why give the position to someone who doesn't know what she is doing?! I work in insurance reimbursement so my knowledge went above her head. What earned them the 1 star is she asked me to give her a call back if I don't hear back from her because she is working remote getting her kids ready for school. This place is a JOKE. Dr. G started out sooooo good, but he is rarely there and this place is going down. It's also crazy that they resubmitted a strep claim 3 times clearly trying to get more money smh. Over these people and I will not be back because they have no structure. Let's see if the billing supervisor reaches out to me.
The doctor and staff were amazing! I was in and out! Doing the paperwork online made all the difference.

I came in here late at night with bronchitis that had been bothering me over a week, Dr. Butler treated me with a steroid shot and prescribed me all the medicine, I needed to get better, they worked very well overnight. Car was very fast & efficient compared to most urgent cares I have been too and the office is very clean and new. Would certainly recommend!
Dr Butler is an amazing doctor. I went to two urgent cares today and he found the problem the other one missed. I will always come here for urgent reasons. And the staff was very welcoming and supportive. Thanks!

This is my second time going to After Hours, and I highly recommend!
I brought my stubborn Husband in for an infection he had in his ear. Staff was kind and Doctor helped identify and cure swimmers ear infection. He walked out saying that he wouldn't mind having to go back if he needed to see a doctor ... which says a lot!
A one stitch accident on Thanksgiving was completely unexpected. After hours in Pineville was so quick that we were able to go back to our Thanksgiving dinner like nothing happened. Staff and Doctor were kind and helpful! Happy Holidays!

The staff were friendly and helpful and put me at ease with what was going on, being from out of state I am grateful to have access to a smaller clinic like this and not have to wait in an ER. Highly recommend if you have a non emergency room issue but need to see someone after hours.

I wouldnt read too in depth on the negative reviews I saw…. I’m not sure that they are true or maybe they changed some team members because I had the absolute opposite experience:
I saw one about HFMD seems fake because NPs doctors and parents can spot that a mile away
But anyway here was my experience and thoughts:
Thank you so so much for such quick and effective help and healing! Definitely reasonable pricing, kindness, compassion, took my complaining about my cough seriously, and just awesome experience.
We were in and out in 36 min
PRO TIP: our RX was waiting at the pharmacy about 15 min away there is a 24/7 drive thru store and pharmacy with Walgreens South Park that was fast (1130 Monday night )
Problem solved: I had Covid which I almost have gotten over but really needed a little extra help getting cough under control and Dr. G and team knew exactly how to help me get finished up healing. I won’t wait so long suffering next time and go see them sooner!

Ps. Due to them being close proximity to the hospital you won’t waste much time if you run in to see if they can be of help before going over to the emergency room.

I will say we had a few issues last year where they system was letting folks unfortunately not know that walk-ins close at 12Am and our last bookings are at 12:40 am, which did result in some real one star reviews. As people showed up to locked doors at 12:50am as we did not take anyone in... we also have some where concussion suffering patients are turned away as we can not see them in a legal form and they must report to the ER for that trauma. But We are definitely trying our best to keep people in good health and spirits otherwise!

Was in charlotte this past halloween weekend when my daughter fell and broke her arm, luckily after hours urgent care was available so we signed up and was able to get a cast on. I think my daughter wants to be a doctor now!

Great doctor, did my stitches as i walked in right before closing at 11pm. The hardest part was finding the place gps pointed me to the correct spot but could not see it from the road. Its behind the starbucks and to the right of the ortho carolina.
