Excellent Service for Digitizing VHS Tapes – Highly Recommended!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Larry from After Burner Media in Flint. I wanted to digitize all of our old VHS tapes. After seeing their enormous number of 5-star reviews on Google, I decided to trust Larry with the digitizing, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results!
From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and professional. Larry made me feel very comfortable about leaving our precious memories in the hands of After Burner Media.
Larry communicated with me throughout the process, assuring me that everything was on track. I had taken my tapes to him just weeks before Christmas as my daughter wanted to give the tapes on USB as a gift to her dad. I did not think that he would be able to complete them before the holiday, because it was so close. However, he finished the project 5 days before he said he would be able to do so, which was amazing.
I highly recommend After Burner Media for anyone looking to preserve old memories. Our family was able to spend Christmas day watching our old memories. Priceless!

Larry from AfterBurner does an AMAZING job with your cherished legacy media. I provided him with almost 30 old 8mm video reels and the digitized results are top-notch. We had a box of old VHS tapes that we wanted converted. I spoke with Larry from AfterBurner to get information; he spent a lot of time on the phone with me explaining his process and answering my questions. I very much appreciated his patience and willingness to help. We were finally ready months later to start the project. He provided instructions for prepping the tapes, and we dropped them off. We were not on a tight timeline, but they still worked hard to get it done as quickly as possible. Larry was able to weed out a couple of duplicates and recordings of TV shows that we missed. After converting the videos, he offered some optional services for improving the recordings (e.g. color correction, gap removal). We got the recordings on a USB drive and via Internet download. In the end, everything went very well! I would recommend AfterBurner Media and will definitely use them again the next time I need to convert some tapes.

It was a great experience working with Larry! He did a great job converting my grandparents old 8mm films and now we will have them forever. It’s a little scary giving someone your one of a kind family films but the level of detail Larry provides for the whole process lets you know someone very carrying is converting your films. Would highly recommend.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Larry and AfterBurner Media! I am so grateful for his work digitizing 29 home video tapes that I was able to gift my parents for Christmas. Throughout the entire process he was so responsive, kind, detailed, and accommodating. He offered his expertise beyond converting the videos to USB -- recommending when to edit out certain portions and amplify others. He was even willing to assist me with some unrelated tech questions well after the project was completed. The work was extremely high quality. I couldn't be more grateful!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Afterburner Media! Larry was so wonderful to work with. I had a jumble of cassettes of family videos and a camera with one stuck, not only was he able to give me extremely high quality home videos digitally but retrieved my stuck video full of memories. He was extremely affordable, incredible communication, he returned them to me quickly and I was able to share the memories as a Christmas gift with family and it was absolutely magical! I can’t say enough about AfterBurner Media! Larry was excellent at communicating all steps of the process. I dropped off several old tapes. He went through each one meticulously. He provided a detailed estimate with photographs of any issues or damage my tapes had. I was given multiple options regarding the level of improvements I wanted to make. Once I determined the work I wanted completed, Larry quickly turned my project around. He was also incredibly flexible with my pickup time. We are thrilled with how the videos turned out!!! I highly recommend AfterBurner! My family is now gathering up their tapes for Larry to work on!
