We had a great time! We got lucky with some beautiful weather and got to see plenty of animals, including 2 of the big 5. Our guide, Samuel, did a great job at answering all of our questions and showing us around the park. We would definitely do it again!

It was a cold and wet day at the safari, but regardless it was a wonderful experience. I had an amazing time with my guide who was very nice and professional. Loved the whole experience and would love to return again with this same company. The guide made sure I saw the 2 animals on my list & I’m so glad

What a day! Samuel told me he wanted to make the day memorable and it certainly was. The land trip was great! We saw a herd of elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos and a rhinoceros and more! What a difference seeing them outside a zoo. Samuel was a terrific guide. The boat trip got us close to hippos and they put on a show. I’ll always remember my day at Akagera!

We had an unforgettable safari experience with Afri Safari, and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. Our guide, Elyse, was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to giving us a great day from start to finish. We saw a wide range of wildlife, and the overall organization of the trip was smooth and well thought out. What really stood out, though, was how Elyse handled an unexpected situation. Late in the day, our vehicle got stuck in deep mud in a remote area of the park, just before nightfall. With no mobile coverage and wildlife in the area, this could easily have become a stressful situation. Highly recommended! Elyse remained calm, made sensible decisions (including advising us to stay in the vehicle for safety), and managed the situation professionally. Eventually, assistance was arranged and we were safely back on the road. These things can happen on a real safari, and what matters is how they’re handled. In our case, it was handled very well.
Couldn’t have asked for a better safari. Our tour guide Samuel was incredible and made sure we saw all the animals. Communication with the tour company was great. Highly recommend!

The whole trip was rushed as the driver was speeding through the park way faster than the 40km/hr park limit. This caused him a flat and once fixed, he felt further behind schedule. Once we finished the park he was weaving in and out of traffic to get back as early as possible. The whole day was in pursuit of getting back to the city before rush hour. We got very little information in the park itself speeding from one animal view to the next. Akegara is beautiful but the tour wasn’t worth it

Absolutely incredible. 10/10 Experience on my Golden Monkey Trek Tour. Since the beginning to the end of the tour I received a very personalized experience with Samuel as a my tour guide. He made sure I had a great experience and also amazing pictures. He also was constantly checking if I needed anything else and if I was having fun. The monkeys are ADORABLE! Once in a lifetime experience.

We did the gorilla trekking and had an amazing time. We really appreciated the easy and clear communication with Afrisafari before, during and after the trekking. Our guide Elyse was very kind and made us feel safe and taken good care of. There was a problem with the car on the way back, but this was solved fast and both Elyse and the company handled the situation very well. I highly recommend Afrisafari, and Elyse!

Had a great safari with the guide Samuel. He was very knowledgeable about the park, as he had been working there for years. He had an intuition for where all the different animals were. He made sure that he understood what I wanted to see and changed his route to accommodate for this. The day in Akagera was great and I still have good memories about it! Can definitely recommend going to Akagera with him!

Vi hade en fantastisk dag. Vår guide var kunnig och visade oss massor med både däggdjur och fåglar. Vi såg tre av ”the big five”. Vår guide gjorde allt vad han kunde för att vi skulle få se så många djur som möjligt. Vi åt lunch på ett väldigt trevligt ställe med god mat och fin utsikt. Vi kände oss trygga att åka med honom. Han tog hand om både oss och sina kollegor vilket vi uppskattade mycket.
