Phil & the whole team were a pleasure to work with. They provided everything that we needed to make the wedding amazing - tents, dancefloors, lights etc but then went above and beyond on the day of set up, adding more lights when needed, adding extra carpet and came back to add extra bits I asked for.
On the set up day they worked quickly, were a really friendly, professional team who treated the space respectively and left it clean and tidy.
The actual tent itself was EPIC! We had all the sides up so you could see the surrounding woodland and it was something out of a fairy tale, the dancefloor was outside under the stars, lit with lanterns.
I could not recommend enough, incredible value for money for such high quality services including the set up and take down. Helpful, friendly and will do everything to help you accomplish your dream vision!

I simply cannot recommend Afon Events enough. I’m welling up writing this review as they really did complete the event we were running. We couldn’t have done it without their support.
Last week we ran a mini forest festival for a charity group of 30 young wheelchair users and their families. Typically, wheelchairs and forests aren’t a great mix… but with the matting they put under the marquee it provided a smooth enough surface for everyone to dance to their heart’s content. The smiles speak for themselves.
Phil was an absolute dream to work with. No request was too much. He’s cool, calm and collected all the time which is exactly what you need when planning any event.
I cannot thank Phil and his team enough for what they did for our event. I’ll be forever grateful for them not only helping bring my vision to life, but surpassing my expectations.
The tents are incredible quality, create just enough shade, have amazing acoustics, you really can’t find any better!

Phil and the team were fantastic - they set up and took down a beautiful stretch tent, dance floor, fire pits, all tables and chairs and lighting for our wedding back in July.
The tents our beautiful and meant that our mini festival was a bit different from a marquee. We couldn't have been happier.
Where do I even begin, Afon Events were the most amazing company to deal with for our wedding and we could not be more thankful for the whole team.
We had a terrible experience with another provider, but as soon as we spoke to Phil we knew we were on the right tracks. Without even paying a deposit, Phil had come to my parents house, addressed the area to ensure it was suitable, suggested a layout and got to work on our quote.
The quote we were provided was so extensive, we were given photos of various tents which had previously set up as well as the various options they had for chairs and benches.
Once the deposits were paid, everything was so easy from herte. The team which came a couple of days prior to the wedding were so polite, hard working and clean! The tent was all set up and to put it plainly was spectacular. The team arrived a couple of days after the wedding, took down the tent and left everything exactly as it was!
My husband and I could not recommend Afon Events more and can honestly say our wedding would not have been the same without this beautiful tent being in place.

Phil has put together a great team who work hard and accommodate all the bespoke needs you could think of.
We got married at the bottom of an impassable valley, unperturbed Phil and the lads proceeded to carry the tents in so not to disturb the beautiful nature.

Phil and the Afon events team were wonderful in setting up and supporting us to have a brilliant wedding day! Every question was answered quickly and nothing asked was considered silly! Afon events came to the site in advance to show us what the sizing would be and talk through how it may look. The team came to put up and take down the tent easily and we were able to coordinate with our venue without having to be on site ourself. The tent itself looked amazing and our guests commented on how it added to the rustic vibe we were aiming for. That coupled with the furniture, including beer barrels, coffee cube seating and the bar area created a lovely feel to the day! At night, the lighting created such a beautiful glow - it rounded off the day excellently! I would 100% recommend Afon events for any future events you intend to put on!

We hired a Tipi Stretch Tent for our wedding on the 15th of July 2023. The service we received was fantastic from the advice we had about deciding on the size of the tent to the actual set up for the wedding. Phil was so helpful and the tent looked amazing on the day! We wanted an informal wedding and the tent finished it all off!
The weather wasn’t great so we decided to put the sides of the tent down and it looked fab! Everyone loved it!
