Great store…excellent sales dude…prices good. I had a mattress tied to my roof and a cool metal bed i side a box on my back seat inside of i5 minutes. Plus a free pillow. Love this place

I had shopped at various mattress stores looking for a mattress that would help with my chronic back and shoulder pain. I greatly enjoyed working with Patrick at the Patton Ave. store. He was knowledgeable, and very laid back, not putting any pressure on me to buy. That, and the quality of the mattresses are reasons I chose to purchase from him.

DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER We were happy to support this locally operated store... BUT COMPLETE DISSATISFIED with the performance of our mattress and the manufacture's response to our concerns. On May 13, 2023 we paid $2,621 for the Kings Down Arvenway Firm King pillow top mattress (price included $50 mattress protector). Over time the mattress gradually began to fail. Finally by September of 2025 we knew we had to get a new mattress. We were 79 & 81years old and each weighed less than 200 pounds. We reach out to the manufacturer. A representative of the company sent out a person to examine the bed and determined that it had insufficiently failed. They offered us a special one time only offer to replace the bed with an identical bed (ONLY/no other type of bed) but that we would have to pay $350 transportation fee. During the fall I began to experience back pain and made an appointment to see a spine doctor. The earliest appoint I could make was several months off... so Nov 20th, 2025 after consulting Consumers Report Magazine we purchased a different mattress from the highly recommended Original Mattress Factory, an employee owned company, for $1604. I ended up cancelling the doctor's appointment after sleeping on the new mattress for 2 weeks when the pain stopped and did not return. We will see how this mattress works in the future. I can't tell you how excited I was to find a Kingsdown mattress store in Asheville! I sold this excellent high end brand years ago in Orlando at "Robb & Stucky"not only did I have one in every room in my home, everyone who knew or met me did too! We just bought a home here recently, through much research I found Affordable Bedding. I walked in, met Patrick the owner. A very kind man who listened to my guest bedroom needs. I purchased for every room, even when I mistakenly ordered the wrong size boxspring, he was happy to help switch it out. Don't buy beds anywhere else in Asheville. He is honest, local, and has the best mattress made in USA. In my humble opinion. 👏👏

As anyone knows, buying a new bed can be so stressful. My wife and I have been looking for a new bed for awhile. Reading reviews and going to different stores, It’s easy to feel overwhelmed. 100 people will give you 100 different thoughts and reviews on what mattresses they prefer. We really only had 3 parameters for our mattress-- wanted something local, lots of springs so it will last, and comfortable. And, i can say with assurance that the experience at Affordable Bedding in Asheville was absolutely seamless from start to finish! Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us find exactly what we needed without any pressure or confusion. He will work with you on your budget and has anything you need including mattresses, pillows, covers, adjustable bed frames etc. We ended up getting a nice Kingsdown mattress which is made here in North Carolina! Also, an adjustable base with remote which has been lifechanging! He even has this really nice Murphy bed we might come back to look at. The whole process just went really smoothly — no hiccups at all. They even delivered and set up our new bed and base, which made the whole process effortless. We live in Waynesville, so i know they deliver 30 minutes away. It just feels great to get amazing service and support a local Asheville business at the same time. If you’re looking for a new mattress with all the fixin's, my wife and I can’t recommend Affordable Bedding enough!

Quality quality quality,.... That's what we were looking for I'm writing this review after months of sleeping on this bed Excellent,.... (Getting the Teddy Bear Was A + 🧸) Why,... it echos that The Care of The customer,... is genuine. These people have heart,... My wife and I purchased our mattress From Patrick at affordable bedding luxury for less In May I did not want to write a review after just bringing it home It is now July We are both very pleased with this mattress And the price We are especially fond of the teddy bear we were given (why? because it says a lot about the company that you're dealing with Instead of corporate you're dealing with people that care about the customer Down to the Teddy Bear) Patrick's Grandmother supplies a Teddy bear,... That shows you the level of service,... this is a family run business,... I was there to purchase a Honda CRV Patrick helped me load it on the top Although free delivery is available I decided bring a Gift Home, across The Smoky Mountains To our cottage in Cosby Again it's about the mattress, excellent quality And a very fair price 🧸

Best Investment After sleeping on a horrible cheap memory foam bed in a box I finally had enough and came to Patrick for a solution. I love supporting local in all that I can so it was a no brainer to check out Affordable Bedding. Patrick and his delivery team were great, and even went the extra mile. My bed mattress is a day and nights difference and I can’t wait to have great sleep for years to come.
