I have been to APT for 2 separate injuries: a shoulder injury from a car accident (at which point I was recommended APT by family members who had been for their own injuries), and then years later, a sprained ankle from rock climbing. Both times, I was thoroughly impressed with the treatment and care not just to improve my immediate symptoms, but to restore my quality of life as much as possible. Sessions involve practical movements (with or without aids), massage, mobility exercises, and electrical stimulation both in concert with movement and at rest. The staff are kind and professional, and work with you toward goals you set at a realistic pace. While I of course hope not to be injured to the point of needing their services again, if I do, they will be my choice.

My wife, who is recovering from a serious injury and has a prescription for PT from her orthopedic, contacted this outfit, hoping to gain some insights into whether or not this would be a good fit for the kind of therapy she needs. The front desk personnel who answered the phone, was only interested in the issue of insurance. My wife had her on a speaker phone and I could hear just how disinterested she was in anything about my wife, her injury or her needs. For profit- yes. For patient - I don't think so.
And to top it off, she promised to call back with clarifications regarding...what else? Insurance! It's been five days, so far no call back and I doubt that it is coming. A terrible first impression which I am sure will also be the last one about this outfit in my wife's case.

This reviewer has given at least 12 one star reviews including to another physical therapy clinic for also trying to check insurance benefits. This is an important step if a patient expects their insurance to cover treatment sessions. Anyone can come in and self-pay without the need for insurance benefits verification or the need of having a referral. We are still willing to help your wife with her physical therapy and either way hope that she makes a full recovery.
Everyone here is amazing. They are so caring and explain the how's and why's of your tailored therapy very well. As someone who is neurodivergent, I felt so well cared for and at ease during each visit. I absolutely have already recommended APT to my friends and family and will be back if the need arise. They totally changed how I view PT.

The treatment I received at APT was exceptional. April at the front desk was extremely helpful with scheduling appointments, submitting paperwork, and explaining insurance benefits. I overheard her explaining the intake forms to elderly and ESL patients on multiple occasions in the most kind-hearted manner.
Evan and John utilized a comprehensive treatment approach—including manual therapy, electrical stimulation, and targeted exercises—to help rebuild strength and mobility in my upper body. They are not only skilled clinicians but also attentive listeners who provided consistent support throughout the recovery process.
The entire team fosters a welcoming and professional environment; everyone is helpful, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in patient care. If I ever require physical therapy in the future, I will absolutely return to this office, regardless of how far it is from my home. I highly recommend APT to anyone seeking quality, compassionate care.

I had an excellent experience with Evan at Advance Physical Therapy. He was able to cure a nagging headache that I suffered with for several months as well as loosening muscles in my neck and shoulders. It’s so wonderful to be rid of the constant aching! Thanks to Evan and APT.
