I am very disappointed with my experience. The visit was extremely expensive, and I was billed $400 through my medical insurance for an imaging test that was done without clearly informing me that there would be an additional charge.
I went in for evaluation of a stye, and the only recommendation I received was to continue using warm compresses — which I was already doing before the visit. I did not feel that the care I received justified the cost.
Additionally, when I called the office to ask for clarification about the bill, I was told someone would call me back with more information. No one ever followed up.
Overall, I am frustrated with both the lack of cost transparency and the poor communication.
