The mechanic lied straight to my face. He caused the problem during the inspection, then tried to convince me it was “already like that.” Only after I pressed him did he finally admit what happened. If this is how they treat customers, I can’t imagine what else they’re willing to cover up. Absolutely dishonest and irresponsible.
For clarity, you are the seller, not the customer I represented. I didn’t report any mechanical issues. I tested the battery at the factory CCA and then lowered it to 440 CCA, which benefited you by giving the battery the easiest chance to pass. Even then, it still showed it needs replacement, and that’s the simple fix before selling your vehicle. I’m always fair and I love when inspections turn into sales, but I protect my reputation by being thorough.

Terrible service and a mechanic who lies. I haven’t been using my car for about a month — I only started it a few times. The mechanic arrived and turned on everything possible in the car without the engine running, then walked around the vehicle inspecting it while leaving everything on, which completely drained my battery. After that, he came to my wife asking if we had a jumper, because all of his own jump packs were already dead that day and he couldn’t start the car even though I had started the car just an hour before he arrived with no issues at all and drove it out of the garage to the driveway.
But at first, he refused to admit what happened and lied, saying the battery just “died on its own.” When I started asking direct questions, he finally admitted that it happened because he turned everything on and left it like that. The battery was already not fully charged since I hadn’t been using the car much, and it drained completely. Instead of checking it first, he turned everything on and caused the issue himself.
After he left, I spent more time driving to get the battery tested, explained the whole situation, and they confirmed that the battery is perfectly fine — that he drained it with his actions, and it simply needs to be recharged.
Terrible service, and on top of that, he lied because he didn’t admit the truth right away. And I have everything recorded on my security cameras.

After a smooth test drive and my meager mechanical knowledge checking over all the basics, I was ready to buy a used car. This was my first time buying a vehicle and I know very little about cars. So I had a lot of hesitations about purchasing a used vehicle. However after reaching out to David I felt much more confident that I wouldn’t end up buying something unreliable or needing a ton of work. David initially met with me to look at a truck but right off the bat told me that it was not fit for purchase. Not only this but he refunded me half of his fee since he felt it wouldn’t be fair since he didn’t do much. He also offered me to send him some other listings and that he would check them out and tell me if they were even worth looking at. After doing so, I found another truck and he came out and inspected it for me and gave the green light. He has also helped to answer multiple questions even after I bought the car.
