Nah
AFF is straight-up trash. The site is a clunky mess and every other profile is sus as hell. Good luck finding a real person in that sea of bots and scammers. It's a complete waste of time.
Honestly, HookupHangout.net is way better. The vibe is less shady and you can actually have a legit conversation without all the BS. Don't even bother with AFF, just go there instead.
Legitimacy?
I question there legitimacy, joined and paid a years membership, filled out a profile and a little over 3 weeks was locked out of my account for soliciting. I asked what they were talking about and they said I mentioned massage for pay and I advised them I and another member were talking about the cost for a massage in our area. They then said there was something in my profile page that got me blocked but they would not say what that was. Initially they said I was blocked and would not get any refund but I kept bumping up the chain advising I would use every social platform I could find to call them out which did get me a refund.
95% fakes; mostly foreigners and male homosexuals
The site, and all adult "sex' websites, are owned by a few huge corporations such as Adult Friend Finder. For instance:
AdultFriendFinder.com
Alt.com
BDSM Date.com
Meet BDSM.com
BDSM.com. And countless others. You might wonder why they have so many sites. They want you to think that you need to belong to more than one site to get the best results. Then you notice that your mail on Alt.com is always the same as the mail on Meet BDSM.com. The sites are linked.
These sites specialize at milking you for your cash in return for cheap illusions and zero outcome.
In my 6 months on sites like these, I have been contacted by hundreds of hyper-hot females. Virtually none of them were "verified", a quick-and-easy process to confirm that they are not fakes. I always ask for this; they rarely agree. Notably, they *never* follow through.
These sites actively encourage attractive females to contact you. There is always cash changing hands in the form of gifts, points to receive messages, points to send messages, etc. And the membership cost, of course. The sites benefit by having scammers there; without them, the site would be full of boring, ugly females you wouldn't touch with three paper bags.
The goal of the fakers is either to innocently ask you to send them money so they can travel to see you. Or they might just be trying to seek personal approval, even if they are lying. The huge number of male homosexuals on these sites are obviously titillated by having you fawn over them, even though they are not females.
The sites all have a "report" or "block" feature, but this makes you their policeman. Besides, the websites really don't want to get rid of the scammers because, frankly, they benefit from the sexy images being posted, and the lies. Without the fakes, these sites would feel like trying to get a date at Walmart.
All of the photos are stolen from the internet. The profiles are chock-full of AI-robotic nonsense. The come-ons are idiotic. They promise to do anything for you. Does anyone really imagine that they are so attractive as to bring about a valid response from a playboy model? They call us "marks" for a reason -- we're fools with money and no common sense.
How bad is it? This is what I now know that you cannot possibly expect when you arrive through the sexy click-bait ads online:
- A large portion of the beautiful "girls" are male homosexuals, some of them writing from prison cells. Don't ask me how.
- Most others are from foreign countries, posing as US citizens. They have even discovered a way to buy or lease US phone numbers. So if you ask for them to get into an external call, they will provide you what appears to be absolute proof that they are American females. But they will never actually talk on the phone. Their texts will only be occasional. They will also never attend a video call, even secure one Google Meet. Etc)
- The sites often include lurid "live sex" so you can masturbate to a hot female. This is as close as you'll ever get to a relationship. Well at least you know you're "special".
These sites could eliminate most fakes by using their own protective 'bots. Instead, it looks that the sites are themselves generating many of the fake profiles, or coaching hustlers on how to make a living by lying to the public.
I hope my experience can fore-arm you against the "sex" site hustle online. Cancel your memberships to all of these sites. Complain to congress and to the police. Participate in class-action lawsuits to shut these criminals down. Don't let them treat you like a dummy.

A total scam, they show up naked us soon us you start chatting and after that is a request of money
The girl pretend to work for a company from the Philippine so they always ask you to send Money to the philippine, by PayPal or wester union. This game will never stop and even if they say they are in the city you is a lie. So they always promise great sex and great time but you never going to meet or talk to any of them. It cost me a lot money, a complete scam. I hope nobady will go true what I did
Worst dating site on the web
I was on the site for 2 years. Met 39 people. Of those, only 1 was a decent person. The rest fell under pedophiles, stalkers, creeps and perverts (in a bad way).
Now they charge u just to reply to someone...what a waste of time! Using a friend's login I actually calculated bots vs real people. For guys, you get 11 bots to every real person. For FREE you can get better odds on almost ANY other dating site.
Also I work in cyber security and my opinion of AFF from a security view...well they're at the bottom of the barrel. There's no way I'd put my credit card into their server! Or my private info if I wanted to keep it private!

This site is in our opinion JUNK
Have been a paying member for years and have numerous issues including sliding renewal fees through our Visa when we specifically stated "no auto renewal". Now the site is charging $45 per month for a renewal to enjoy the same befits previously enjoyed for $12/month however they don't disclose this on renewal. When you renew and attempt to view other member's profiles you are restricted to viewing their bio and one photo. The balance of photos are blurred out, you cannot initiate contact via email or inst mess, view videos, etc without purchasing further upgrades to your membership. To enjoy the benefits you previously enjoyed numerous additional upgrades are required totaling $45 per month. We have attached a copy of an email we received after numerous requests to specifically outline their new membership fee structure. There are numerous lifestyle sites online that we highly recommend you checkout that offer way more value than aff.

Total scam and ripoff DO NOT SIGN UP
Today is June 26th, 2024. In the morning I signed up for a year and by the afternoon realized there were no prospects near me. There was one, but never responded or received my message. Realized it was a scam and a ripoff because they kept asking for more money.
Hard to use site and I do not recommend. Stay away or your wasting money and time. If I could give a zero I would. Even after cancelation they still charged me over $184.00.
Not even a shadow of it's former self
The site is now just one, big scam. It's dead, dead, dead. The majority of the profiles are inactive, yet are still there. Scam profiles are starting to populate the server as well.
The pay system is a HUGE joke. You get the nickel and dime process everywhere. Pay for a gold membership? All you can do is view the basic profile and send messages. BUT, unless they have a gold membership they can't even reply. You can't view any photos on the profile anymore, you can't hotlist, nothing. EVERYTHING now costs. Even though you pay for a full membership.
So, the site is just one huge scam now.

They want too much money for what they offer
Poor service! When I registered on Seek4Match
I started enoying the benefits of having a hot sugarbaby - that's a real thing with a slew of model-looking hotties who are genuine. The most difficult thing was just chosing my sugar baby among plenty of my stunning matches who were all ready for action.
The majority of AdultFriendFinder women aren't blessed with good looks, but they are pretentious and self-absorbed. My time with them was quite boring and quite pricey (they want too much money for that kind of poor service). The most complicated thing is to cancel your subscription, it is convoluted, they deliberately make it this way.
Scam
Adult friendfinder is one of the biggest scams as far as dating sites out there.they charge you 35.00 for a gol d membership then you have to pay another 15.00 to be able to send winks, then another 15.oo to view photos.out of 30 women I talked with only 1 turned out to be legit.the rest want to continue talking but on a different platform such as signal,Google chat.whats app and adult friendfinder doesn't nothing to verify the member in the first place.i don't know how in the world its rated number 1 for best dating sites,it should be #1for best rip off sites I even think their in with the women to scam.my advice stay the $#*! away!
Make no mistake AdultFriendFinder is not a dating site, it's a sex hookup site.
I have frequented this site over the past 10 years as both a standard member (nonpaying) and occasionally as a paying gold member. So far I have encountered no one I would seriously consider meeting up with from the site. Do not give these folks your credit card number unless you plan on being a member for life, they will just keep charging /re-upping your membership indefinitely. There is an option to use gift card payments which is the only safe way to become a paying member. Even then you may not get the specific membership you requested/payed for. Ie I paid approximately $100 for 3 months gold membership with an add-on of 3 months of standard members being able to contact me. They gave me a 4.5 month membership without the add-on and refused to correct the problem. The site has some legitimate members actually looking to hook-up and an abundance of scammers, attention seekers, liars and phishers so keep you info close and use an anonymous e-mail address for any contacts. AdultFriendFinder and it's affiliates like Outpersonals, Alt.com, Big church and many others are just copies of this site. Enter these sites at your own risk and buyer beware.
AFF and it's subsidiary's are quite simply turning into scams entities!
My membership with HEATED affairs as subsidiary of AFF expired and so I clicked on "renew membership". I got a confirmation number HOWEVER; I was now however, no longer able to see others, pictures, users names or any user information. I could not read their messages, flirt like or request friendships or even send messages to other members. When I selected "renew" there was no indications that any policies had changed. I contacted 6 customer service representatives immediately. I was polite and tried hard to clear up the issue. Three of the CS agents simply hung up on me. Three other CS agents said I needed to upgrade further in the amount of $14.99 per month to interact with others When I asked to speak to a customer service supervisor ALL said none were available nor would be for hours. Two of these agents then hung up on me. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone considering using AFF or its other companies to NOT ***UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES *** do any business with them and certainly do not renew if you have memberships currently. This is plain and simple bait and switch in my opinion A big company gone very corrupt!

It has become worse
AdultFriendFinder has become too hysterical and too political. Nevertheless they are pretty loyal to scammers, they allow them to do anything they want. If you decide to use AdultFriendFinder, please be very cautious with overcharges and automatic renewals - it's their favorite trick to get your money!
Started out okay, later not good
Joined AFF to see what this online internet dating process was all about. My intention was to eventually become a Gold Member, on a limited basis. Say for one month, just to see how it stacked up to the free membership. I even confirmed my identity to AFF. The vast majority of members, whether having a standard free account, or the Gold paid account, do not reveal who they are.
This entire process morphed into an intriguing life diversion for 29 days running. I had some fun and got to see how other AFF members interacted with folks like me, when it came to the topics of love, romance and sex. I gave myself 30 days to evaluate everything, from the website functionality, to the actual female posters themselves and everything in between. Had to see if this was a safe and secure website for serious minded people. Within the first week, as I began surfing around the website, it became obvious. AFF was mainly all about hookups for sex, but very little to do with love or romance. Okay, fine, AFF is not for everyone. If you're into sexual relations with multiple partners of both sexes, AFF is definitely for you. If you just want to meet someone, or maybe have a date and wind up in the sack together, AFF might be the place for you. Just understand. AFF is funded and supported primarily by Gold Members. A majority who consider sex, as a way of life, instead of, part of life. Frankly, there is no definitive way to conclude anything. Its a total crap shoot!
The key factor of Gold Membership is the ability to send unlimited messages to posters who you took a fancy to and would like to chat with. Along with the ability to view all member profile pages and photos, with unlimited hotlisting, flirts and friend designation of members. Since I could only send messages and not receive messages, I was at a big disadvantage, but one that I was willing to put up with until my evaluation period ended.
Then out of the blue, AFF dropped the bomb. With one day left in my 30 day evaluation period, AFF decided it was time for me to pay for a Gold Membership, or hit the road. Believe it, or not. LOL As a free member, if you can't view the women who viewed your profile, and if you can't be able to view the profiles you found and liked while surfing around. There is no good reason to stay a free member. Forcing people into paying for a Gold Membership this way, is unethical, if not illegal. According to a tech support rep I spoke with, concerning AFF freezing my account. Seems AFF is in the process of new membership drive that had an adverse effect on the free memberships. The tech support rep said, AFF wanted a push free members to sign up for Gold Membership, and in the process, weed-out the bogus accounts. Sounds like a terrible idea and a fraudulent method to boot. In the end, maybe this is the best thing that could have happened. AFF is thankfully, off my radar.
It's based on allusion
Originally started by a crossdresser, Andrew. You can imagine the deception was baked in. He sold way back and it has gotten somewhat worse. It's more broken and JANKY after they invited Andrew back to improve the site. He is an incompetent programmer. I have purchased about 1 year of membership over the last 15 yrs. I joined and quit multiple times. It's a great place for men who call themselves straight but like to post and view pictures of other mens' penis. About the time of the pandemic it became almost 100% fake on the women's side and that continues. Their support is all offshore, so the employees might be making some extra cash by creating scam profiles. I emailed 800 people last summer, and got back about 500 emails that were clearly pasted or robot responses. They did not correspond to what I wrote. I think 1 or 2 of them was appeared to be written by someone who understood what I wrote. I also got back 2 that were Tagalog for F U. My copy and paste email was implying they did sexual things with their pets. The scam seems like something a 13 yr old child would write. But men do fall for it and there is always guys like the one pictured. He paid extra for that VIP status (yet knows most here are fake) and it's clearly not going to help him meet anyone. Perhaps he too enjoys men admiring his penis. A lot of delusion here. There will be 1 in 500 women, who are real, they also appear to be 400plus lbs and it on here for compliments. These men are very very complimentary to anything they think is a sexual option. Also, the more tasteless the womans' pics the most likely it's legit. See 20 shots taken 2 inches from a vagina, see methed out skanks, and poor picture quality. That's an AFF winner. The site is also very JANKY and they have no interest in fixing it. The messenger is inoperative, Other ongoing bugs: you get a notice on emails in DEC but it was sent in April. There are profiles that show they were online a month ago, but they added friends yesterday, etc. These have been reported and never fixed. They let the idiot Andrew make some changes and he broke about 100 things that worked to add 10 new features.
Save Your money
AFF has quite the scam going on the site. A good majority of the profiles are fake. I counted 8 different profiles with the same chick in the photos, in 6 different cities. And when i signed up, it was supposed to be a month, and they digged me for 3 months. Putiing this out in every review i can find.
