These guys are great. My van needed a new transmission, and I wanted a second opinion after getting a price from my regular shop. AC confirmed that I did, indeed, need a transmission, but they were able to save me $1000 and provide me with a longer warranty. They're super friendly and helpful, and they offered me a donut not once, but TWICE! Now that's service.

Sure they did good work. But they lied to me. I called a ton of places to get the best quote, they had it. Rebuilt my tahoe transmission. They quoted like 2.5k year or two ago, had a rebuilt soon after ended up being like 4k. I told them to call me if something like that was going to happen. They did NOT. Subpar. Terrible customer service imo. Never going back. Not recommended.

This shop was recommended by John at Performance Plus in Golden and he is a pro. I have a 140k mile '03 C5 Corvette, I think I had a transmission fluid change done at under 100K miles, but it was definitely due for another. Brian said they don't flush the fluid which as I've been told can loosen up caked gunk in the tranny and cause issues, he just heats it up, drains it thoroughly overnight, then pulls the pan to change the filter etc, then close it up, run it and, then drain a second time. Sounded good to me! The tab was $450.00 which I'll admit surprised me but to know it's done right and it's good for many miles to come - ok by me. And you gotta love a guy that owns an SL Mercedes 12 cylinder monster. Great shop, great guy, highly recommend.

Lengthy but worth it... So the family and I were moving west coast to east coast and right after we got over the Rockies we pulled into a gas station for fuel. When leaving my car suddenly had no power (despite the engine running fine)... being a car guy I knew it was the transmission instantly. I called a few places and without much luck until AC transmission Golden. They said if I get the car to them before they close (it was late afternoon then) that night they will look at it first thing next day... well I did and they delivered telling me before 7:30am the trans was in fact bad and needed a rebuild or replacement. Given our time constraints a replacement was the only option and within hours (less than 24hrs in their hands) I had a working car again and back on the road with a 1yr warranty for some peace of mind for remainder or trip (which went without any more drama). They knew my situation, they knew I was in a predicament... but they didn't take advantage in anyway only charging parts and very fair labor. I even tried to tip... and they refused. If you need service on such a very critical component on your vehicle like the transmission - go here. These guys really are legit, honest and deserve all the business they get. I am still very grateful for what they did for me and will never forget it. -Paul

Honest service! Dropped my truck at Ford and after they didn't look at it for a week took it to AC Transmission. Determined there was no issue with the truck after a test drive, inspection, and inspection of fluid. They topped it off with fluid and no charge. 10R80 Transmission in F150 got a little hot on a trip in stop and go traffic and vented fluid. Will be back if I ever have an issue.
