We stayed in early September. It's in an ideal location near the water and an easy walk to the forts, restaurants, the town center, and the airport. The hotel itself is thoughtfully renovated with unique rooms. They serve a great fresh breakfast. The proprietors and staff are kind, accommodating, and helpful. If we make it back to Corfu, this is where we would stay for a while.

Beautifully renovated house. Spotlessly clean. All the staff are lovely. So kind and attentive. Extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations etc and boat and car hire - which given it was the end of the season saved us a great deal of ringing round! The breakfasts were superb. Tasty and filling. Hot items cooked to order. We never needed lunch! A good night’s sleep, not much noise after 10ish. A very easy and pleasant 10 minute stroll along the seafront to the old town. But plenty of bars and restaurants round the corner also. If we are visiting Corfu again, we’ll go straight back here.

☺ I felt like a visitor at somebody’s home who wanted to treat me like family. The staff are so gracious and the surroundings are so beautiful. They have breakfast, which is sublime and you couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Beautiful hotel perfectly situated away from the busy town
☺ Lovely hotel. They were super accommodating to my needs as I don’t eat gluten and dairy. They had many options for me at breakfast and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is well located. I could walk to the old town in a few minutes, it’s surrounded by great restaurants and close to the old fort.
☹ The only way to get to the higher floors is via stairs. The wonderful staff do carry luggage up though. Maybe not the best place if you have mobility issues.
I also had trouble with my toilet. It didn’t flush well. Probably not a usual occurrence.

☺ Acanthus Blue in Corfu Town was delightful - beautifully designed rooms, comfy bed and a lovely breakfast. The staff went above and beyond, even providing with a takeaway breakfast bag for our early airport checkout.
Location was great - 10 min walk to the airport, short stroll to the coast and on a bus route into town.

☺ This hotel was an excellent find. A lovely boutique hotel only a 20 minute stroll along the beach front to corfu old town. The rooms are modern and beautifully designed. The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is superb. The hotel is only a 4 minute drive from the airport so ideally located if you want to spend a few days exploring Corfu town. We will certainly return to Acanthus Blue.
