I got a quote for a few minor repairs and a washing of my brick house and paid 50% down. I was told the job would take a day in a half.
3 hours later I am told it has been done, and nobody washed anything. Trying to get a refund, an answer etc!
Aaron and David did an amazing job tearing down my old chimney and replacing it with beautiful stone work.
They have great work ethics, I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I can’t say enough good things about them.

When Aaron finished my chimney, he re-mortared my fire pit and promised to come and finish this spring, as soon as the weather gets better. I can’t wait to share the results. I’m sure it will be amazing !!

Aaron and David came to our home to address effervescence on our cultured stone. After three other companies came out, Aaron knew right away what to do (another company told me I needed to replace ALL the stone -- ???) and the circumstances under which the issues occurred. Within two days the issue was resolved along with a chimney leak down the side of my home that no one could figure out how to repair! Needless to say, AB Masonry will always be our go to. We just had the pleasure of AB Masonry repointing our 1916 clinker brick chimney in Wallingford. They ground out the old mortar in one day and washed down the brick, house and ground. The next day they pointed and the next day they acid washed.
They cleaned up everything after finishing their tasks. The crew was friendly, professional and did a great job.
Hired them to fix a leak- they replaced the bricks and reassured me several times that we wouldn’t have water come in after they fixed the wall….however 2 days after installing the bricks and paying them in full…we had heavy rain and guess what…. Water coming in at the same spot.. They won’t answer the phone or texts….
Beware- it takes a bad review to get them to communicate. Stay away from this company if you want to save time, money and frustration!!!

I’m very sorry to hear you’re still experiencing water intrusion and that you’re unhappy with our services. The work we completed was done to a high standard and addressed major potential entry points for water in your brickwork. The damage shown in your photo existed before our work, and after repairs, we cleaned and tested the area multiple times with a hose and no water came through. If heavy rain is still causing leaks, I can understand your frustration but it’s likely coming from another source of entry that doesn’t pertain to the work we quoted and successfully provided.
Fixing the deteriorated masonry was an important step in ruling out a common cause of leaks. We scheduled your job on short notice, accommodated weekend work, and even planned to return as a courtesy to inspect other possible sources of water intrusion for you. I do wish you had given us more than a couple of hours to respond to your messages before leaving this review, as we always try to work with our customers but can’t always address concerns immediately or outside of business hours. Now that the masonry has been addressed, it may be worth having a home inspector come out to identify other sources of a leak, such as the roof, flashing, or balcony.

We had Aaron and his team come over to restore a couple of older chimneys on our home. They replaced stone veneer, added mortar to the gaps, waterproofed the stone, etc. From the beginning, they were very communicative and professional. They arrived when they said they would and were thorough. The price quoted for the job was great and less than several other quotes I received. We will definitely be working with them again for future projects!
