Alec arrived on time and got right to work. Diagnosed the problem, explained some possible potential unseen problems that luckily didn't happen, and gave me solid estimates which were reasonable. Throughout the repair he was friendly, and kept me appraised of the status. I was impressed wirh his training, knowledge, and professionalism. The repair was completed quickly and with quality. I was impressed and would highly recommend A & A for plumbing work.
Impressed enough that I scheduled additional work with him to install a water softener after he again demonstrated excellent knowledge about our water's hardness and possible solutions.
I had a leak in the basement so I called on a busy Monday and Tony responded within2 hours. Diagnosed the issue and resolved where the water came from and fixed it promptly. There was a separate issue with the sink valves. His estimate for the fix was reasonable so I had him address that while he was here. Bosch 300 dishwasher install. Second time using Alec and he's 2 for 2. Simply couldn't be more pleased with the quality of his work and his character. Not the cheapest in the land, but ALWAYS done the right way the first time. That's especially valuable to me as an out of state homeowner. His attention to detail is extremely difficult to find anywhere in 2026, but especially so in St Mary's County. Couldn't give him (and A&A) a stronger recommendation.

Amazing service! Very personable and knowledgeable people. This company goes above and beyond to service all of your plumbing needs. We were even told that about a potential issue before it became a catastrophe in our house. Scheduled for service immediately and technicians were there on time every time. It was like dealing with a friend who took there time and explained all services as they were working on our house! We will continue to use AA for all of our water needs!

Full bathroom renovation was in order, all plumbing fixtures to be relocated bar the toilet. I was doing all the work myself but needed a plumber to do permitted work for me. As luck would have it, my plumber developed an allergy to working in Maryland so I needed a plumber and a good friend recommended A&A. I called them at 11am and by 12.30 Alec was standing in my freshly demolished bathroom. Within 45 minutes he was joined by Tony. Alec took the time to fully understand my project, was willing to accommodate my very unique requirements for the custom bathroom's plumbing, and asked all the right questions. Tony methodically broke down the job with Alec and uncovered various challenges that we were likely to face due to poorly installed plumbing when the house was built. By the time Tony and Alec were ready to leave my house and prepare a quote, I was certain that they were the team for the job. Within 24 hours I had a full detailed quote for the work, breaking down all of my requirements, and a date was set for the work pending permits(which A&A obtained from the county in short order). Work started on schedule and Tony, Alec and Miss. Addison set about bringing this project to life. The work was swift, methodical, clean and respectful of our home. Tony kept me informed as we encountered various issues (as we expected) and helped me submit the necessary paperwork to the county planning office for our proposed "engineered" solution. This involved a wait time for the county planners to approve our work and the team had to leave and return once the works were approved. This was a complex project and involved relocating and adding new drains, supply lines and wet vents to the bathroom being renovated and new supply lines to our second adjacent guest bathroom. The job was completed.
NOW>>>>>>>> a week later I am recessing the subfloor for my walk in shower and I realized I had overlooked the fact that my FlowFX shower drain kit would need an inch of space around the shower drain vertical pipe (yes I know its obvious, and yes always think about the end of the project before the beginning, and yes a homeowner that does DIY is dangerous). Tony had rightly asked me about this during the install but I was fairly sure the drain flange would not sit below the subfloor and thus not need space.... well I was wrong.
I planned to cut and remake the last section of the drain to gain the tiny space necessary, and texted Alec from A&A on a Monday evening to ask if I can use a specific fitting to do this. Alec called me right back and knew exactly what needed to be done. Alec wanted to own the project from start to finish even though this oversight was completely my own fault. Although I felt awful for being 'THAT CUSTOMER', Alec wanted to make sure I was happy. The very next morning Tony was back to remake the trap arm thus allowing for the space I needed. Honestly, these guys are great!
Final county inspection is pending and I will update this when we pass, {{{{which we will}}}} because if plumbing was ever sexy, and well put together then this is it... I mean come on man, look at those stub outs!! My OCD is just delighted@!!!

I could not have been happier with the quality, price, and especially the timeliness of the response. Within 1 hr of calling about a leak (after hours no less) from behind a wall on the 2nd floor they had a technician responding on-site. Alec was able to promptly identify what was leaking, and had the tools and materials to fix the leak on the spot and answered all questions I had while he worked to repair the leak. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have the professional invite you to watch them work and ask questions as they go.
My wife who is notoriously indecisive has decreed they are now our plumber.

Best company ever. They made our well water taste better and not smell. Got rid of the white sediment, too. They were very knowledgeable and clearly explained all the equipment and processes involved. Excellent. We signed up for their maintenance plan also. They fixed some minor plumbing issues in addition to the well water issues. Quality work and fast too. Love this company.
