My group and I Definitely had a good experience with Brandon and his team. Normally I would want to use all my own gear but they supplied all high end gear for the trip and they were very good with making sure everyone had what they needed while on the ice, checked in with everyone on routinely to make sure they new how to read the graph to helping with the right jigging technique or whatever it was to ensure a good experience. Although it was a tough bite when we went, we knew that going into the day and we still hooked up with a monster fish and for me that’s all you could hope for and ask for from any guide. We were on fish all day thy just were not active. I would definitely recommend them and go with them again and say one of the highlights was their set up and multiple guides All working together.
We've been out with Brandon several times - the Menominee River when Lake Michigan was too rough to fish; Lake Michigan for Salmon; and Lake Superior ice fishing. We've always had a good time even when the fishing wasn't always on. He's knowledgeable, safety conscious, and makes people feel at ease without feeling dumb.
Highly recommended!! We caught 118 lake trout on our excursion. The Captain was extremely patient with the 12 year olds whose arms were about the fall off after the trip. He is a phenomenal steward of the Lake Superior fishery. Knowledgeable, professional, and great teacher! Definitely worth the 7 hour drive to fish with him.

Brandon is extremely knowledgeable in the area. The boat was clean, spacious and comfortable. Equipment was top notch, even in the brink of a storm he managed to get us in some nice fish!
The company was even better! We will be booking again next spring so we can get some more local spots!
We fished with Captain Brandon twice during the 2025 season. One trip was for coho and the second was for kings. We caught a ton of fish on both trips and had an absolute blast being out on the boat. Captain Brandon was knowledgeable, friendly, and committed to catching as many fish as we possible could. I would highly recommend going out with Captain Brandon for a great fishing experience!!!
Brandon put on an excellent excursion. Our location was thoughtfully planned and he made nuanced adjustments to make sure we were successful.
