10/10 recommend A1 and their team. from picking the slab, to the template the communication was always open. they had a lot of options as well so I didn't feel stuck with a small selection. I chose the Mont Blanc and she's beautiful!! installation was smooth and the team was nice and professional. I also loved that they had referrals for other people I needed like Tile backsplash, it felt like an all in 1. you can tell they take pride in their work. I recommend them and will be using for any future projects.

[Edit: I gave a 5-star rating but only 4 stars are showing up.] After visiting 12 different countertop companies (I’m a professional researcher, what can I say?) in Tallahassee I chose A1 Granite. Inventory is pretty comparable among the different companies but not the people or expertise. I was renovating the kitchen in our almost 170-year-old house and had absolutely no idea where to start or what I wanted for countertops that would be functional but also “fit” the look of our house. Betty Baez was incredibly knowledgeable (and so patient that I nicknamed her “St. Betty”) throughout the selection process, reviewing my photos, making suggestions and providing the pros and cons of different materials until she found the perfect slab. And then the installation…Victor and Raphael were amazing! Absolute perfection. I had a last-minute idea for my backsplashes and Betty made it happen! That installation team (Andres, Leo & Marlon) was just as fabulous. There was one special-order piece remaining to be installed and despite it’s small size, Julio and Hugo treated it with the same amount of care. Also a shoutout to Adrian, who did all the measurements, and Stella, who scheduled the installations and let me know if there was even a slight delay in the team’s arrival. My “personality profile” is old, cranky and picky so “gushing” isn’t my norm, but these folks deserve it. My heartfelt thanks to you all ❤️

A-1 Granite was great! In addition to new products, they had a huge selection of “remnants” to choose from and we were able to pick out something that was great for us. Our salesperson, Miguel was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, courteous and patient! Also, the installation was smooth and seamless.
