Josh came to our home for an informative and punctual estimate. He provided a detailed plan and delivered. He came to our house on time as planned with a full crew, 2 bucket trucks, and all the equipment needed to get the job well done. This professional crew worked with precision to get the job completed to our 100% satisfaction. Josh remained on site and invited us to ask questions. The clean-up was meticulous! I highly recommend this company!

Josh and his team were a pleasure to work with. Josh quickly identified a diseased tree and the team removed it immediately, along with several small palms close enough to be affected. As a bonus, the tree removal has also markedly improved our view.
Their operation time was less than predicted. They went above and beyond by trimming an adjacent bush for no extra charge.
Their cleanup was very speedy and I am already planning to use their services again.

Great work and cleaned everything, Prior to commencement, they told us we didn't need to do anything, and that they would take care of everything, not to worry.
We didn't worry until city code came along and told us that a tree permit was needed. Now, it is on us to apply for an after the fact permit, and pay the price of the permit plus three times that amount, $520. We also had to obtain an arborist's letter in the amount of $250. Their aborist viewed pictures we sent and didn't come out the property. The letter states that the tree is too close to the house and is causing damage to the foundation and the driveway. We were also told by the city that we will have to plant 3 more trees on our property, 12 ft tall and 3 inches in diameter.
I am furious that we were not advised to obtain the tree permit. It would have saved us a ton of money. Now, of course, Josh, the owner does not respond. BEWARE!!!!!
I used this service for an urgent tree problem in Nov 2025 and they solved it quickly & satisfactorily at that time. Fast forward to now - I have 3 very large trees that the canopy needed to be cleared out for the coming hurricane season. Additionally, the canopies extended into and around power & cable lines. They cleared out the undergrowth and left the upper canopies so I still have shade and removed the growth into the power lines as well. They removed all the debris from the trimming and I couldn't be more satisfied with the work they did.

Five Star Tree Service did a fantastic job clearing out everything that needed to go before storm season. The team was professional, prompt to arrive on our scheduled date, and got the work done in half the time I expected. They also checked in with me before leaving to make sure that everything I wanted done was taken care of to my satisfaction. Although I didn't need additional work, I got the impression that they would have done anything else I requested with no complaints.
Because there was a lot I wanted done, I expected that I would have to budget for multiple visits. But when Josh came out to give an estimate for the trees that I'd deemed as "priority" needs, I was pleasantly surprised by how much he said his team would be able to take care of at a very reasonable day rate. For less than half the price another local company quoted me for, they took out two large palms (one of which was very dead, and leaning dangerously close to power lines); one large and one small cedar, one large carrotwood, and significant lower-limb removal for a large banyan and very large oak tree. For no extra cost, they also removed an additional small/medium tree that wasn't included in the original estimate. They mulched and hauled away everything, and cleaned up the yard.
At my request, Josh and I discussed additional work that should be done in the future, but I did not feel pressured to have that work done immediately. I really appreciate how he shared his advice without giving me a sales pitch. Also worth noting that when I reached out via the online form to get an estimate, I received a same-day phone call from Josh to set up the appointment. They get in touch quickly!
All in all, great communication and prompt, professional service.

Just used them today, they arrived 15 minutes early which is always a plus! Everyone was professional and courteous! Did exactly as asked as far as tree trimming/branch removal… and I was absolutely AMAZED by the cleanup process afterwards, they removed everything, including additional stuff we had laying around the yard, the yard looked better after they left than before they came!!! Very reasonably priced and prompt to respond after initial phone call (which is rare these days!!) I would most definitely recommend them !!!!!

I called 5 Star Tree Service and Josh returned the call quickly and set a date within a week. They cut a huge pine, a couple of oak trees and cleared some pepper trees and more. The workers knew what they were doing and also very efficient. They cleaned up the area very well. Impressive. I will call them back when I need something else done. Thanks guys.

I’ve used this company before and once again they did an excellent job. They took down a palm tree and trimmed some large branches, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The crew was early (on time in my book), hardworking, and kept me in loop via text and videos on the progress throughout. They cleaned everything up perfectly too. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Five Star Tree Service did a great job cleaning up my three crepe myrtles for a very reasonable rate. They managed to get my job scheduled quickly. Spoke to Josh at 3:30PM on Thursday, the Five Star crew had a large tree removed that was just inches from the house safely by noon on Friday. They cleaned up and even left the front yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. Truly 5 star service!
