Called because I wanted to have a fan installed on my patio cover after the fact and Igor was very detailed as to why he wouldn't recommend his company to do it and instead to reach out to an electrician. I had called multiple companies and he was the only one that took the time to actually explain the Y behind it and also gave me a really good recommendation on how to achieve the same results for a lot cheaper and a lot more effective. although he in his company, technically didn't do any work for me. I really appreciate the fact that he took the time to walk me through that process and still helped me.
Half of my patio had blown down in the storm, end of 2025 so found Fire Star online with good reviews and contacted them. They came out fast, gave a good quote, and started the job fast. They also worked in tandem with the gutter company I had hired since the gutter was damaged along with the patio awning. Very nice and trustworthy people, especially for me being a senior citizen, I felt well taken care of and not taken advantage of. Much appreciation and thanks to Igor, his workers and company. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend to anyone.

Five star home improvement exceeded my expectations. They did a fabulous job on our patio cover. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Everything was done on time with an eye for detail and quality work- I would give them my highest recommendation.
For full transparency, I had previously got a quote from Igor over a month ago and took my time thinking it through while gathering quotes from others. After realizing how great of a price he offered in comparison, how professional and more knowledgable he was during the quote process, I knew I could trust his team with the job. I had multiple questions throughout the entire process before the build went through and he put me at ease. His responsiveness is a huge plus, and I appreciated his follow ups.
As for the patio cover itself, it seems solid and durable; I expect it to last many years. The lights he offered are pretty bright (see photos), his installer managed to somehow wire the patio cover lights to the existing wall mounted light without wires showing anywhere. Another huge plus was that one of the colors offered closely matched our home's color!
I would definitely recommend Five Star Improvement's patio covers to others.

Ok here we go, when I originally had my cover installed they did a great job. After 2 years it started leaking when it rained. I called the salesman who sold me the cover. He had retired from the company, and said he would contact the company to help me. No response from company. I then called and also left messages for the company. Again no response. I need another cover for a different part of my yard, and still no response. I finally was able to reach Igor, the owner. The lack of communication was handled. Igor had his workers come out and reseal the areas that were leaking. So hopefully the leak is fixed, but won't know till it starts rainy again. So all is good again in my world. I'm even having them come out for a second cover. Thank You Igor.
