Fantastic customer service,the 4x4 was in great condition and the guys couldn’t have been more helpful at the time of booking.We got picked up from the airport and dropped at our hotel on arrival and picked up again in the morning to get the car.Full and detailed explanation on how everything worked and what to do if we had any problems,so much so we were able to help others in the road.The Wi-Fi dongle was great(we would have liked a map as back up but picked a free one up on our travels) we took a mobile phone holder with us,I recommend you do as it makes reading Google map easier.All in all a fantastic service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you book!!! Thankyou so much,we had a great trip.

We had a fantastic experience renting a car from this company. They have so many excellent reviews and rightfully so, we cannot recommend this company enough when you want to go for a self drive in Namibia. What is included in their service is an airport transfer as well for when you arrive in Namibia and when you leave to go back home again. When picking up the car they advice you on the best route to take to see as much as you can of Namibia, and also explain all the do's and dont's. During your drive you also are equipped with a WiFi device in the car such that you can always contact them if you need their help. They are super responsive, for example when we had a question about our stove and when we wanted to cross the border to enter Zimbabwe as we impulsively decided we wanted to go to the Victoria falls. In both cases they literally helped us within a minute or so. What is also very telling about a company, especially a car rental company, is how they act and respond when you have an incident with the car. Due to the roads in Botswana and the rain season, when navigating a deep trench we unfortunately hit a small tree which damaged our bumper. Again they made sure that we weren't stressed about it and we ended up not having to pay for any of the damages. For those renting a car in Namibia, always make sure to then file a police report even if its a one-sided incident with little damage as insurance companies always need this information. This is definitely different to how insurance companies work in the Netherlands for example where you wouldn't go to the police for such an incident. Luckily they let us of the hook which again underlines their level of service. The car itself was perfect for the terrain in Namibia. We went there during the rain season and although we were lucky with the weather it definitely helps on some of the muddy roads to have the 4x4. If you're looking for a solid car for a competitive price and excellent service then this is definitely the right organisation to rent from!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Go Rent Namibia! The service, support, and information provided were outstanding from start to finish. Both the vehicle and the camping equipment were in great condition—honestly, the quality of the gear provided was far above our expectations. Wir hatten eine fantastische Erfahrung mit Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals! Besonders möchten wir uns bei Simon bedanken, der uns die 4x4 Pick-up Einweisung gab und die Transfers vom Flughafen zur Autovermietung und Unterkunft professionell und unkompliziert durchführte. Alicia und Robert haben uns persönlich vor Ort empfangen und uns hervorragend in die Sehenswürdigkeiten und wichtigen Aspekte eingewiesen. Während unserer umfangreichen Namibia Rundreise mit vielen Kilometern liess uns der gut vorbereitete Pick-up nie im Stich. Zudem wurden uns eine beinahe neue Bereifung zur verfügung gestellt, was äusserst wichtig ist für diesen vielseitigen Boden. Das zeigt, dass man hier eine zuverlässige Leistung erhält, für die man sehr fair bezahlt. Das Fahrzeug ist mit allen wichtigen und hilfreichen Equipment, sowie Pannenhilfematerial, Kochutensilien, Bettzeug und sogar Badetuch ausgestattet. Das gesamte Team war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Kommunikation und Vorbereitung per WhatsApp war reibungslos, schnell und sehr unterstützend in all unseren Fragen. The key word here is “trust.” They trust you from the start, and (at least in my opinion) you can trust them too. I completely agree with all the positive reviews. We did have a small issue on the first day — a check-engine light and a temporary drop in power — but it was handled quickly. Although the problem went away by itself, the car was replaced the next day as a precaution and the new one delivered straight to our campsite. Other than that, everything went smoothly. Robert and the company are genuinely trustworthy ( and I don’t say this that often), cars and tents are in good condition. Last but not least - Namibia is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Super awesome car rental company to choose if you travel in Namibia. All their team members did a great job to their customers. With free return airport shuttle, free simcard & wifi device and binocular, it really makes your travel plan went smoothly. We rented a Toyota Hilux 4x4 with 2 rooftop tents. The car is new and comfortable enough for 5 of us. I will surely choose them again for my upcoming Namibia trip. Thank you GoRent & keep up the good work!

We hebben een auto met daktent gehuurd voor drie weken en werkelijk alles was fantastisch geregeld. De mensen zijn super vriendelijz he wordt opgehaald en gebracht naar het vliegveld, een wifikastje voor onderweg, alle spullen die je nodig hebt om te kunnen kamperen worden meegegeven. De verzekering tot in de puntjes geregeld. De uitleg bij ontvangst perfect geregeld. De daktent sliep heerlijk en is heel makkelijk in gebruik. De auto was nieuw (20.000 km op de teller). Ik zou dit bedrijf aan iedereen aanraden.

Fantastic We rented a car with roof tent for three weeks and everything was fantastically arranged. The people are super friendly he is picked up and taken to the airport, a wifi box for the road, all the stuff you need to be able to camp are given. The insurance arranged to perfection. The explanation on receipt perfectly arranged. The roof tent slept wonderfully and is very easy to use. The car was new (20,000 km on the odometer). I would recommend this company to anyone.

Servizio ottimo sia prima che durante il viaggio. Robert e i suoi collaboratori sono gentilissimi e ci hanno dato due numeri di telefono da contattare in caso di difficoltà, ai nostri messaggi hanno sempre risposto nell'arco di breve tempo. Sono venuti a prenderci in aeroporto e dopo averci offerto da bere il proprietario Robert ci ha dato alcuni ottimi consigli sulle strade da percorrere. L'auto era munita di tutto quello che avevamo bisogno: stoviglie, pentole, fornello a gas, un buon frigorifero con congelatore (noi ad inizio viaggio abbiamo comprato il giaccio che si è rivelato molto utile), tavolo, sedie,... Avevamo anche un apparecchio portatile con il WIFI (attenzione in Namibia si ha connessione solo nei centri abitati e sulle strade principali, vi consiglio dunque di scaricarvi le cartine di Google maps offline). Ve lo consiglio vivamente.

This was my best car rental experience to date. The service was top-notch, from communication to helping us arrange transportation to the hotel and the airport the next day. Robert (the owner) and his team went above and beyond, even allowing us to use an internet router on our last night in Windhoek (after we returned the car),so we could connect to the internet (Airalo e-SIM cards don't work in Namibia, be careful). You will get two SIM cards with the car. One with 25 Gb internet + another one for the calls. The car was nearly new. Toyota Hilux 4x4 with automatic gear box was very comfortable. Car is fully equipped. We didn’t even use half of the equipment on board. You will find everything you need. Hint: No need to take a sleeping bag. The tent on the top has duvets and pillows. As well as clean towels. I can fully recommend this Car rental company. We had a great 10-days trip. Thank you
