The manager (Peter?) has very bad attitude to customers, even rude. He left us alone and went into office. At last with the help from other staffs, we finished the rental process. It makes people feel that this company would not run for long with such unprofessional and unqualified manager. The employees (Christina, Simon and Joseph) are nice and very kind to help. Overall, the rental experience in this company is pretty bad. Not recommended.

These guys are awesome. After booking well before our trip from Australia to Africa, we arrived in Africa and were given a friendly welcome and a thorough run through of vehicle along with a very knowledgeable run through of the areas we intended to drive through in Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. The advice was priceless and the service wonderful. The vehicle performed faultlessly and we were provided everything we needed for our trip. Five stars for these guys!

I rented a Hilux Double cab 2.4 with camping for 2 for 28 Days. The car was in a very good condition and had everything you need for a full Namibian experience. I was traveling alone and the car was my only constant for those days. I had lots of fun driving through the desert, mountains and specially the sand with the 4x4! I had a problems with the fridge but Peter was always helping me and organized mechanics at my destinations so I don’t loose much time having the things repaired. He responded almost immediately to my messages. I will come back to Namibia for sure and I’’m going to rent from these guys again! They also told me that they are getting new cars and new tents the coming soon!

Robert and his team have built a strong and reliable business, and our trip went without a single hiccup. The truck has everything you need (and more) to comfortably travel around this vast, beautiful country and the support of Go Rent ensured that we always had the comfort of knowing that the team would quickly be able to assist us if anything went wrong (which fortunately it didn’t!). Particular thanks to Simon for his hospitality, picking us up/dropping us off at the airport and giving us all the best tips and knowledge for our travels (including a crash course in Damaran). Would highly recommend.

We were picked up from the airport and taken to meet our car — what a beautiful beast! It carried us through Namibia and Botswana for three weeks without a single problem, and we didn’t even have to use the spare wheel! The camping gear was great and fully equipped with everything we needed. Joseph and Simon were incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, always with a big smile. We had an amazing experience and would 100% recommend this company!

We had a very good experience with Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. Everything went smoothly with a well-maintained and reliable vehicle. We drove around 3,400 km during our trip without any problems or punctures. Of course, there is always a bit of luck involved, but having good tyres from the start certainly helped! We also really appreciated the advice we received before leaving. The owner took the time to discuss our itinerary with us and gave us many useful tips and recommendations, not only about the 4x4 itself but also about travelling around Namibia in general. This was very helpful during our trip. The camping equipment provided with the vehicle was very complete and had everything we needed. The portable Wi-Fi router was also a great addition and something we really appreciated. Naturally, there are remote areas of Namibia where there is no mobile signal, and sometimes reception can also be affected by the weather, but whenever a network was available, having Wi-Fi in the vehicle was very convenient. We also appreciated the airport transfer, which made our arrival and departure much easier. Finally, a big thank you to Christina and the whole team for their kindness, availability and friendly welcome. We would definitely recommend Go Rent Namibia to anyone planning a self-drive trip through Namibia.

Excellent loueur avec relation client de qualité et un accueil efficace et prévenant. Le véhicule fourni (4x4 avec tente de toit) et tous les accessoires de camping étaient très bien: tout est prévu jusqu’aux allumettes pour le BBQ. Malgré des problèmes avec le frigo qui est tombé en panne 2 fois, Robert le responsable a chaque fois trouvé une solution de dépannage rapide grâce à son réseau de garages partenaires (chaque fois la réparation a été très rapide en une heure). A recommander pour le professionnalisme.

Hemos tenido una fantástica experiencia gracias a la empresa. El coche que pusieron a nuestra disposición estaba totalmente equipado (2 ruedas de repuesto, compresor, camping gas, utensilios de cocina, mantas, colchón, etc). Además el personal de la empresa nos facilitó muchos consejos para los 21 días de ruta entre Namibia y Botsuana y nos ayudó a preparar la ruta. El personal de administración también nos atendió muy agradablemente y la devolución de la fianza fue muy rápida. 100 % recordable. Repetiría sin ninguna duda.

All the staff at GoRent were very friendly and helpful. Christina, Simone and Robert ensured we had all the information and equipment we needed and arranged a Namibian sim and portable WiFi device and airport pick ups and drop offs which were much appreciated. We traveled ~4,000km (~2,500 miles) on gravel, tar and some sand roads to visit several of Namibia’s National Parks (inc. Namib-Nauklauft, Dorob, Etosha and Waterburg). All the camping equipment was great and we had everything we needed.

Go Rent Namibia 4x4 is so much more than a rental service. Piet, Christina and Simon were our guardian angels throughout our Namibia adventure. I cannot recommend them enough for their incredible support, advice and excellent communication, both during the planning and throughout our actual road trip. Their local knowledge, thoughtful advice and genuine consideration of our specific trip requirements were 10/10. I often found myself saying, “Piet was right!” throughout the trip, which says a lot about how valuable their advice was. As first-time 4x4 and roof-tent travellers, we were a little unsure of what to expect, but the whole experience was seamless. Everything was handled with great care and attention, and we always felt that we were in very good hands. If you’re planning a self-drive adventure in Namibia, I would wholeheartedly recommend Go Rent Namibia. The vehicle is one thing, but having a team like Piet, Christina and Simon behind you makes all the difference.
