Fence replacement and repair
This is the second time we’ve used Terry of 1st Class Fencing and been completely satisfied on both occasions.
Terry is a very good tradesman and takes pride in his work.
Everything went smoothly, from the initial survey, quote and starting the project, Terry was clean and tidy.
He had a couple of problems to overcome which he did professionally and without complaint.

Named 1st class fencing for a reason!
You know someone has done a great job when you get home and your neighbour comes out to tell you how fantastic the new fence is, how very nice the man who did it is & I was told come daylight I’ll be more than delighted ! So, I’m writing a review before even seeing it finished. It can’t have been an easy job but was reasonably priced, all rubbish removed, really quick hard worker, reliable too - will use again without bothering to get quotes elsewhere.
Front garden renovation - new turf, path and fence
Terry has done a fab job preparing and laying new turf, digging up the old concrete path, building a new step and laying porcelain tiles. The work is very precise and everywhere is always left neat and tidy. He’s trustworthy, hardworking and reliable and the work looks great. He’s coming back soon to do my fence too. I’d highly recommend Terry if you want a job being done properly!
Accommodating Revised Schedule
Terry was very flexible in his scheduling of a fencing job for me. I had to cancel initially because of gas main works in the road outside, but he was able to bring forward the revised date to meet my requirements. The job was carried out professionally and within budget.

New Deck with surround - Brilliant !
Deck is fantastic, My photos are poor! I Highly recommend using this company for any job they will provide. Communication was fantastic, price was very fair for the work required. The finished deck & railings looks fantastic, nice idea to flip the boards on the sides! All rubbish and waste was cleared away. Above and beyond with kindness and offer of help to my neighbours. A very nice, genuine person who is clearly very good at their job ! So pleased to have found Terry & will always use him for work in future.
New Garden Fence
The job involved putting up a 6ft fence. This was far from being straightforward, the adjoining garden had not been looked after allowing weeds to grow through my old chain link fence for the past 30 years. Terry removed the old fence and posts and with a digger removed several very large roots which took most of one day. He turned up on time every day and worked tirelessly until the job was completed, I am more than happy with my new fence and have asked him to quote for another smaller job. A score of 10 is very well deserved.
Repair of fence panel and two broken posts
Terry was good at communicating to make arrangements. He was reiable and punctual. He got on with the work agreed and worked hard. I was very satisfied with the completed work and paid a fair price. He is a nice polite ,hardworking person and I wouldnt hesitate to use his services again
New & Replacement Decking
