If you’re looking at getting a tattoo in Vietnam I would highly recommend 1984!
Simon did such a killer job on my tattoo. I sent 1984 an image prior to our consultation of a dragon I wanted, they recommended a few changes and worked with me to create a tattoo that perfectly matched what I was wanting.
The final product has massively exceeded my expectations and I couldnt be any happier with it!
Thanks to Simon for working his magic and creating an insane piece. And thanks to the rest of the staff for being so hospitable and helpful.
I had an amazing experience at Tattoo 1984. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My tattoo artist did not speak fluent English, but he made every effort to explain the process carefully and an interpreter was there to ensure everything was clear and understood.
The studio is clean and very comfortable, with a relaxing atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Getting a tattoo was something I was nervous about, but the team made me feel calm, comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire experience.
I’m very happy with my tattoo and the overall service. The attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care from the staff made the experience truly memorable. I highly recommend Tattoo 1984 to anyone thinking about getting a tattoo. You’ll be in great hands!

1984 Studio is a welcoming place. The staff is very professional, takes time to explain the whole procedure, complies with hygiene standards and makes the guests very comfortable while they're in the tattoo studio. Would definitely recommand them to anyone coming in Hanoi. And thank you to Bon for his time and his amazing work.

They took plenty of care explaining about the piercing and how to look after it before I got it. They kept checking up with me and making sure everything was alright, and checked to make sure I was definitely happy with the placing of the piercing too. Everything was very clean, I'd definitely recommend coming here!!
Very hygienic and helpful shop. My friend got her helix done and they fully walked her through the process, showed us the products they were using and their expiration date as well as gave her lots of options for the position of the piercing. They were also very clear on aftercare. Highly recommended
Professionalism, friendliness, precision, good vibe, fair price & indescribable satisfaction. All these words describe this tattoo studio and the people who work there. My wish was to cover up an old, ugly tattoo behind my ear. My wishes were for it to be elegant, feminine, not too big and not too small. I trusted the precise hands of a professional and I am indescribably happy with the final result. My new tattoo is amazing. Of course, because the studio is at a high level, you are offered cold water and at the end you receive a gift so that you can properly take care for your new tattoo. I have quite a few tattoos from all over the world, but this tattoo studio and the entire experience here is on a completely different level. 100/10

Amazing service, super professional. I had Cahors as my tattooist and he was incredible! Made sure I was happy with the design and placement and really took his time!!! Highly recommend this place

Had an absolutely amazing experience at 1984. I wanted to get a color tattoo to memorialize my late father. Their team worked with me to create a custom design that met my desires, and went through a lot of conversations with me explaining how and why they wanted to do the tattoo in a certain way (regarding size, placement, color scheme, etc.) I felt like my ideas were honored, and an expert was able to voice how it could be done in the best possible way. Simon was my artist and he is insanely talented. The tattoo came out looking absolutely stunning, and I would recommend him to anyone seeking a large realism piece. He worked so deliberately and patiently for the whole 9 hour session. A true artist! Mandy worked with me out front to help translate between the team of artists and myself; as I can barely speak any Vietnamese. She made me feel super comfortable and welcome even as a foreigner. I felt like their entire team was dedicated to being welcoming and pleasant, even the staff I was not working with. The artistry and hospitality of this studio is something I had not experienced before, and I will be coming back for many more tattoos!
