Saying goodbye We knew our gorgeous little 17 year old bichon Millie was at the end of her beautiful life. Anita came to our home to give Millie the gentle send off she deserved. Anita was so calm with Millie, sat on the floor with her beside her bed and connected. Millie was relaxed around Anita. Everything was explained to us and the process that would take place with our beautiful little girl. Anita has a calm presence and reassuring. Millie had her sedation and gently went to sleep before the final injection. Such a peaceful moment. Our hearts are broken and we'll always miss our little Millie so much but it helps to know at the end of her life when she was struggling so much that there are beautiful human beings like Anita who will care and make saying goodbye a peaceful experience.
