Riu Palace Costa Mujeres The Riu Palace Costa Mujeres lived up to its high rating. Everything about this Riu Resort was terrific. First off, the grounds were gorgeous, the location was far enough from the busy-ness of Cancun. The hotel was spotless and the room was very clean. I wanted to take home the pillows! There was something for everyone and the multiple pools allowed for games or swim up bar or leisurely family plunges. The staff at poolside, buffet, restaurants, and housekeeping were very friendly and attentive. Staff encouraged fun and games at both poolside and away but were not intrusive in anyway. I found the food to be varied enough that everyone in my group could find something yummy. The one downside was that the water in the gulf was not clear but that was not the fault of the resort. This did not keep me from enjoying the surf, just not able to use my goggles. Very happy to have had this Riu experience.
