Bad Neighborhood Renta-Car
Arrival: Walk through the maze and proceeded to the desk. The attendant (supervisor) barked at me and told me not to come up until called. He seemed to be posturing to his employees at the expense of the customer. There was no sign or indication NOT to proceed.
Drop-Off: Drive in early. Gates wide open w homeless transients milling about. Nobody in lot to receive the vehicle. So took the key inside. The girl at the window told me to go put it in the car. I said I felt uncomfortable leaving keys in an unattended car with the gates open and homeless/transients right there. She then threated to weaponize the turn-in process against me " I don't know when I'll make it out there and if you get a late turn-in, it's on you" (note: only one other customer there at approx. 0730). Would not recommend.
