Being a landlord can be stressful when things go wrong.
Our tenant in Harrogate recently reported that they had been hearing dripping water every time they use the kitchen sink, dishwasher, and washing machine.
What they didn’t tell us was that this had been going on for nearly 6 weeks and there was now an awful smell in the property.
When we lifted the floorboards there was a pool of sludge, and the smell was horrific. I originally contacted a local ‘leak repair company’ who to this day still have not returned my call or email enquiry.
Our Letting Agent then suggested I speak to Scott from YBM. Within 45 minutes, Scott had sent his sister to clean up the mess, disinfect the floor void, and she even climbed under the floor to reconnect the pipe.
