I'll keep this short:
Larry Topps did what other reps from other companies couldn't. I had 4 other companies give a free estimate and get denied by my insurance company (the one that never wants to cover anything). It was a 6+ month battle but Mr. Topps did not give up and assured us the entire time that he was going to get it done with no cost to us. Sure enough, he came through and the new roof is great. It didn't cost us a penny out of pocket or a deductible. I have recommended Whitaker Roofing Company (Larry Topps) in particular to 3 or 4 of my clients and relatives and he has gotten EVERY SINGLE ONE covered and done. I'm grateful that I found this company and I will constantly recommend them to clients, friends, and family. GREAT JOB WRC, GREAT JOB, LARRY!

Mason was awesome! He took the time to assess my roof, showed me what he found & clearly explain everything to me. He walked me thru every step of the process and was available when I needed him. We had a great experience with our roof replacement. Jessica set up a free roof inspection and helped us through each step of the process. Once we got approved, we had a new roof within two weeks. I would highly recommend reaching out to Jessica for an inspection.

Shawn and Cody managed the entire project with exceptional care and responsiveness. They, along with Larry, guided me through the insurance claim process, effectively negotiating with our insurance company, and submitted applicable post-completion supplements on our behalf. The team’s clear communication and transparency helped set realistic expectations, making the entire experience stress-free.
The on-site roofing crew was fantastic—professional, courteous, and incredibly efficient. They completed the full roof replacement in just one day, demonstrating impressive craftsmanship. The following day, they returned for an additional nail pick-up and a thorough quality check walk-through, ensuring everything was perfect.
During the process, we discovered some issues with the siding adjoining the roof. Whitaker Roofing provided excellent references for contractors who could assist with the job, further showcasing their commitment to comprehensive customer service.
While I hope I won’t need another roof replacement anytime soon, I would certainly choose Whitaker Roofing Company, LLC again without hesitation. Their dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction is commendable.

Long tough fight with insurance company, however Larry went to bat for me on my home.. pointing out items that was missed by the inspector and several legal items that were overlooked. I would definitely recommend them for roofing needs.

We had wind and storm damage. Our son in law recommended Larry Topps with WRC. He came out quickly and inspected our roof before we contacted our insurance company. They wanted to repair the roof instead of replacing it. Larry really went to bat for us. Backed up everything with Alabama roofing codes. Insurance companies should not be so hard to deal with. Larry was always in touch with us, told us what to expect and got us through it all. We have a beautiful new roof, water stained ceilings were repaired and painted. We only had to pay our deductible.
