I highly recommend my surgeon, Dr Moss, of The Foot & Ankle Center of Ohio, he did an amazing job! A special thank you to Dr Pierce and all the amazing nurses and aids who cared for me and was so attentive to all my needs. The entire WCH team went above and beyond to make my stay here as comfortable as possible. 5 Star Care!

I have had five surgeries since 2009 and all were done at WCH. The quality of services, compassionate caregivers and the cleanliness of its facilities are nothing short of amazing. My wife currently receives treatments at the James infusion center and the nurses and doctors are excellent. We are very grateful that we can receive this treatment in Wooster and not have to drive somewhere else.

I had used this hospital for over eight years for my community needs. When coming recently I was told I shouldn’t have come and I should have gone to a different hospital!! The doctor on call was rude and cold. I will definitely take this experience into consideration in the future.

I have used Wooster Community Hospital many times. Thay have always been very professional and genuinely friendly. Recently I needed surgery to correct a corroded artery, and was a bit concerned about the procedure. Just having the great etiquette that they do was comforting. Procedure was you could say "text book perfect" and I am so glad to have them here for myself and my family. Thank you so much for everything.

Had 2 different tests done on 2 different days. The nurses and staff were Great. The problem I have is I paid my estimated bill both times the day of service. My Insurance Company paid the bill in a timely manner and I find out that I over paid and requested a refund. I have to wait 4-6 weeks for my refund. So now I know for next time not to pay the day of service and wait for a bill to be sent and pay my bill within 4-6 weeks. Its amazing when you owe them money you have a deadline to pay but when they owe a refund it takes 4-6 weeks.

UPDATE AT THE END: Worst experience in an emergency room. As a nurse in an affiliated specialty practice I was less than pleased. The dr was pleasant but the staff was rude. I went there for ongoing neck pain that is getting worse over the course of a month. Upon arriving the RN at the front desk basically told me it was a waste of my time and theirs as this was not an emergency. All I was wanting is some relief from the pain I have been in for a month now. I wasn't asking for pain medicine I just don't know what else to do. Long story short they did nothing. Told me to keep doing what I'm already doing (anti-inflammatory, prednisone, muscle relaxer, physical therapy) gave me a shot of morphine and sent me out the door WITHOUT even assessing my pain prior to discharge. Needless to say. The shot did absolutely nothing. I know there is no quick fix for the pain I'm in but being in the health care field kindness and empathy goes a long way and these people had neither. UPDATE 5/28/24: Finally had an MRI no thanks to this hospital. Shows Prominent right c3-c4 disc extrusion causing severe stenosis of the right exit foramen and displacement of the right c4 nerve root sleeve and mild stenosis of the right c5-c6 intervertebral neural foramen due to osteophyte from the right uncoverterbral joint. I am now waiting for an appointment with a spinal surgeon. This is something that could have been caught 2 months ago if this ER had listened to me and acknowledged my pain at that time. I am now limited on movement, activities and ADLs. I may also be taken out of my position at work to ensure no further damage is caused to the spinal nerve. My life is not the same.

Loved this gym and all the instructors! Very sad that they closed the babysitting as this caused me to have to find a new gym but would 100% come back if they bring back babysitting!

Great big shout out to Kylie, ICU RN. I called for an update on my mom and it was near shift change. She called me back when it was well after her shift end and also took the time to give me an update. Living 6 hours away and having that peace of mind was a blessing! She also then took time to ask mom a question for me and gave me her response! What a treasure Kylie is and should be celebrated…maybe a Daisy award? She went above and beyond this morning! Thank you Kylie!

Dr barone was one of in my top 5 uneducated, and rude-est medical phyicians I've ever encountered!! I had to visit the emergency room for emergency kidney issues and with the diagnosis they said I passed a kidney stone, which no I didn't, I would have known and sent me home with no answers, and I'm still in bad shape. I requested a second opinion and Dr barone yelled at me, saying he took it personal...... Well being a doctor isn't a personal job, your suppose to care, and figure out what's wrong. He did none of that. I have a terminally I'll brain disease as well that shuts my organs down. So yeah. Thanks doc....for nothing.

Having a baby should be about family but at WCH these poor mother's are reduced to 2 hrs a day where family and friends can come visit! What about mother's who are unfortunately doing it alone without a partner they're just expected to spend their entire stay alone. That does not promote community or healing for the patient. Will not be recommending this hospital to anyone especially expecting mother's!!!!

I had a vascular ultrasound done today at WCH. It wasn't my first. That didn't make it less nerve-wracking. My technician, Brenda C., greeted me with a big smile and made sure she was pronouncing my name correctly, which most people do not. She was friendly and kept me thinking about anything other than why I was in there, all while maintaining her professionalism. She is a credit to Wooster Hospital and to the field of Ultrasound Technology.

the Wooster ER & radiology team were unbelievable. My grandpa was having awful symptoms and could barely walk without falling and they diagnose him with “ear wax build up” and sent him home. Not to mention also that the nurses were so rude to him & the woman who came to get him for his cat scan made fun of him and talked about him to other staff right in front of me. Was so disgusted with the behavior. Then he gets sent home and ends up falling and EMS sends him back - thankfully the one doctor we had the next day found out my grandpa had a large stroke and had to be sent to OSU hospital down in Columbus. I will never go back to wooster ER for anything. Should be so disappointed in yourselves.

Absolutely disappointed came into the er with lower pain in my hip the doctor comes into the room with an attitude very rude and short and everything about him screamed he was having a bad day. First words out of his mouth was they have no way to see what my issue is ? What isn't this a hospital? Very disappointed in the hospital for allowing Dr Kennedy to act or conduct his practice in this manner with that type of attitude. No ex Ray no cat scan nothing ? Are you the doctor? I was baffled Absolutely blown away iv never felt this way ever from coming here ever so I'm basically in pain and clueless on what it's from because he dosnt want to do his job very disappointed
