The windows they installed for us leaked within the first 18 months, and caused extensive damage to the interior wall of both our upstairs and downstairs. We had their crews out several times to review the damage, however, they repeatedly denied that the windows could be leaking. We even paid to have a third-party home inspector come check out the windows, and they found several areas of inadequate exterior caulking that could lead to water intrusion into the home. Even after sharing the inspection report with window world, they continued to deny that the windows could be leaking. Now we are left with thousands of dollars and cost to figure out how to make the windows not leak and to repair all of the damage to the inside of our home. Yes, they may be a reasonably priced option, however, do not use them if you want a company that stands behind their installation.

My journey with Window World started with the replacement of a sliding glass door after hurricane Beryl. The day of installation I observed the man installing the door having difficulty inserting the door in the existing frame for my previous door. He forced the door from Window World into the frame opening and once he did that the sheetrock on the right inside cracked and buckled mid way the wall and at the bottom of the wall. I brought this damage to his attention before he left and all he did was touch the crack and working. I asked was the damage going to be repaired. He did not really give me an answer. I had to call the company and inquire if the damage was going to be repaired due to the damage being cause from the installation of the door. The man that installed the door came back out and his solution for the damage was to cover the damage with door casing. My next question to him was how does that address the damage to the wall. His next answer was to plaster over the damage and then cover it with door casing. Next he and another man came out and they plastered over the damage. The next morning the plaster was cracked and sunken in. I contacted them again. The manager came out and said the same solution as the previous man. Before he came out I put in writing in am email with pictures the area of concern. 1. The affected area is the right side wall of the sliding glass door on the interior of the bedroom room wall. 2. From the exterior of the sliding glass door the damages wall is on the left of the bedroom room wall I have called to get this matter addressed and the man that installed the sliding glass door was told to call me and come out to address the damage. He did call and he did come out but did not return to remedy the affected area. He was to come out but did not show up on the prearranged day. His solution to the problem was cover the damage with door casing. This would not and will not address the sheetrock buckle. The damaged has left cracked sheet rock that is crumbling. The man that installed the door forced the door in and I pointed out the damage that was done. His response was no response. I do not think this door was installed correctly if installation caused the sheetrock to buckle. I need someone to come out to inspect the damage and the installation of the sliding glass door. Still the managers solution was to plaster over the damage and cover it with door casing without repairing the damage. He came out and explained what he wanted to do and I said if it repaired correctly then yes. Plastering and covering the damage is not the solution. Not only does the damage to the sheetrock still exist, the texture of the wall paint is not done correctly and now he has cut a portion of the baseboard out leaving a hole at the bottom. The door casing is wood and is not going to conform to the buckle at the bottom of the wall. This room was renovated after hurricane Beryl and all repairs were done correctly by a contractor. I have picture of the door and wall before Window World installed this door and I have continued to take pictures of what is not being done correctly. None of my request have been addressed to my satisfaction and I have paid in full for the product only to have a damaged wall.

We had 6 new windows installed in our townhome about 3 years ago. Lifetime warranty. We got double hung so we could fold each pane down for easy cleaning from the inside. The first issue is the screws holding the hinges to the bottom of each window are very short (about 3/4") and go into nothing more than hollow space after passing through the thin vinyl of the window. This caused the screw to pull out on the window when I folded it down for cleaning. Contacted Window World, they sent someone out and he put a long 2" screw in. But, it still goes into nothing but air once through the vinyl. So of course it pulled out again. But the BIG issue is during hurricane Beryl 2 of our windows leaked quite badly. Sent another warranty claim form out via the web site. The correct reply from them should have been We're sorry the windows leaked, let's schedule someone to come and look. But instead their reply was Send us some pictures. My wife called them and convinced them to send someone out instead. We were scheduled for, I believe, 12-1:30. That time came and went, no show. She called, they said they were running late and would be here in a couple of hours. That time came and went. No Show again. She called again, we're running late, will be there between 5 and 6 pm. We just canceled it. Not very good service. So, I took a good look at the windows to see why they leaked. HORRIBLE caulking job! Gaps and holes all over. Since they can't seem to keep a schedule I'm fixing it myself. Going to have to remove all of the botched caulking and replace it. See the attached images. Will Definitely Not be recommending this comp

I called 3 companies and Window World was by by far the best. I had called Rite Window and told them I had 3 windows to ***lace, they said they were booking 6 months out! That led me to believe they didnt want a small job!The day of install went without a hitch 3 pleasant installers!I would highly recommend Window World for, Price, Service and product!

I ordered six windows from Window World. After some rain delays, they were installed. Then came Hurricane Beryl. Three of the windows leaked, resulting in water in the wall insulation and under the flooring. I reported this to Window World. They sent out two reps who tested the windows that leaked with a garden hose, and said one window leaked. I told them a garden hose does not approximate 90 mpg+ constant winds with gusts over 130 mph. They said it did. They said they would put in a claim to replace the six sash's. Weeks go by and no update. I called Window World and was told the claim kept getting rejected, but would be re- submitted. More time goes by, and I call them back. I am told nothing will be replaced as they don't warranty " acts of god". My recommendation would be to use someone other company that will stand behind their product. I had the house moisture remediated, Sheetrock and insulation removed, and flooring removed. I still have sub flooring and bat insulation to be removed. All furniture removed and in storage. I consider a hurricane an act of nature, and have a home that is presently unusable.

***** and his crew were so very thorough and precise in the work they did for us, putting siding and insulation on our home. They were polite and gentlemanly as well. They're dedicated, hard workers and very serious about doing an excellent job. ******* and his other worker were just as dedicated and polite and also did an outstanding job installing our windows in a professional and timely manner. I would recommend Window World to anyone wanting new siding and/or windows. Thank you for a wonderful job.

LIES AND INCOMPENTENCE. Hurricane Beryl left us with a shattered glass panel in the bedroom door leading outside. Window World agent Johnny Dimicelli, who came to give an estimate on replacement of the broken glass, told us that the glass could not be replaced; we must replace the whole door. Totally trusting him, we agreed to the purchase of a door for $2165 (with $1165 deposit). After a month of our living with black plastic covering the opening, the door came. IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE! Upset, I called another company: I learned that I did NOT need to replace the door and frame, only the glass! In the same afternoon Multi-Glass of Texas replace the broken three-quarter panel with between-the-glass blinds for $706----a savings of $1459.

I went by their showroom to look at windows. Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. The sales person was very rude. As I was leaving he said "get out of here"! I would not do business with these folks.

The WORST... I started this process over a year ago when I had a leaking window. It took several weeks to get the sales person out to measure (his name was Johnny). When he showed up he was intoxicated, but he gave me some excuse about a mental disorder (which I believed). He had mentioned that he had had lots of complaints before about him being drunk. He then placed the order, and I had to wait 8 weeks for the windows to arrive before installing. When they arrived it was the wrong size, so now I know longer believe his story about a mental disorder. He was definitely intoxicated. He had measured wrong, and now my tenant had to wait another 8 weeks for the new order to arrive. The windows arrived and they were installed (4 months later), so I thought we were finally done. Nope, months later I received a message from my HOA that they were going to fine me, because the insulation foam was visible, and it clearly was. I reached out to Window World to correct the problem, and I was told that a manager would call me back. That call back never happened. I called back again later and I was told the same thing again, but now I actually needed a new window as well, because my HOA demands that the two windows to that unit match. Now that I need a new order, I finally did get a call from the "manager" Jake Rodger, and I explain the situation and how this has been going on for over a year at this point, and how I needed a new window, but if I were to use them again I would need some sort of financial remedy in the form of credit. He assured me that he would take care of the foam as well as see what he could do about the credit. I explained, that after all this I would never use Window World again, but they were lucky that my HOA needs my windows to match and that I would give them the opportunity to make it right so that hopefully I could use them for my other rental units. I had to follow up with him several times via phone and text messages. I later discovered that the manager was a "field supervisor" not a manager. He did schedule with me to go remove the foam, but of course it was cancelled and he had to reschedule. I have continued to follow up on the credits with no response. He did finally get out there and remove the foam. However, I waited weeks again to get a call back from Johnny (sales person) about scheduling the measurements, and when he finally did set a day he didn't show up. I followed up and received no response. Days later I discovered a quote/estimate requesting my signature in my inbox. So he decided to go without rescheduling without notification to advise the tenant. Finally after getting nowhere with the credit I decided to bite the bullet and just get it done. I very reluctantly signed the estimate to get the window on order. I thought finally I am done, and in another 8 weeks I will have this new window and be done with this mess. Nope, Johnny texted me that he had made a typo on the quote and that he had sent the revised at a cost of $365 more. Absolutely not. If you're considering Window World especially in the Houston area I would highly suggest a different option. I would definitely pay significantly more to never use them again.

My family has purchased 8 windows from Window world. 2 of the windows leak inside the house everything it rains. I've called several times trying to get ahold of someone to come out and fix this issue. The response I get is you'll have to pay a $75 fee just for a tech to come out. Why in the world would I pay them additional money when these windows are supposedly to have a lifetime warranty. It is not the labor part that is the issue. The issue is with the actual window product itself. During this rain we have had today on March 21st 2024 a huge bubble has formed underneath the window from the amount of water that is leaking inside the house. I pulled out with a syringe 110mL of water. This is absolutely insane. As I stated I've called several times trying to speak to a manager or someone higher up and the response I get is "I will have to send a message to one of the support staff and they will give you a call back". Seriously what kind of a joke is that? Every other company almost world wide when you ask to talk to someone higher up and they transfer you right then and there and try to resolve whatever issue at hand. Not this joke of a company. I went to to the BBB site and looked at complaints and reviews and they are rediculous. After all the complaints and BS people go through I don't know how they stay in business. Next step is to report them and to have a lawyer reach out because I know have thousands of dollars worth of damage to my house. I would not recommend this company to anyone for no kind of service. Be aware of this scam ass company who can not honor their products. The only reason they get 1star is because I have to pick a star. If it were up to me they wouldn't get a star rating period.
