Replacing double glazing window units (DH1) I have used Window works on multiple occaisions . Very happy with the work. Gareth is always reliable and easy to contact. Would definitely recommend.

Window hinge replacement (SR2) Based on the issue I described, Gareth responded stating what the likely defect was with a quote to fix it. He turned up on the day he said he would, did the job and did not charge more than he quoted. Very straightforward and I’m very pleased with his service.

Sealing of PVC windowframe (SR5) Gareth arrived around the time window he said he could do. I had to reshuffle the time slot once due to an unexpected event and Gareth was happy to accomodate. He arrived and diagnosed the issue and suggested while the fix he had in place could help some issues which he sorted out tidy , other issues may not have been derived from the PVC and he was able to point me in the right place. Thanks for your help on this

Replacement double glazing unit (DH3) Contacted Gareth to look at a misted double glazing unit. He called in the next day gave me a competitive price to do the job and returned 2 days later to fit the new unit. So refreshing to have someone turn around a job so quickly. Thanks Gareth I’ll definitely be recommending you.

Replaced corroded mechanism and handle on UPVC window. (NE34) Gareth was great. I had multiple other trades people telling me that I would need to replace the entire window frame at significant cost. Gareth quoted me based on pictures, showed up on time and it cost me exactly what was quoted. No complaints, only praise. Thanks again Gareth

Leaking doors and windows in conservatory (DH1) As I have used Window Works before and was very satisfied, I rang on 30th Oct. And explained the problem. He said he was very busy that week which was ok as the leaks were not urgent. He said he would ring me on 1st Nov. To arrange a time to come out bur he did not ring. I rang on 6th Nov. And he said he would come out on 8th Nov. Some time in the morning but he never turned up that day and has not rung since to apologise for not turning up. I do not mind if people are busy but just say if you cannot make it. Not turning up is, for me, a recommendation not to use the company again.

Glass Panel Replacements (DH1) Had 4 double glazed panels that needed to be replaced. Turned up to quote when he said he would, agreed the price there and then, and had the job done within a week. Windows look as good as new Highly recommended

Replaced window hinges (DH7) Prompt, polite, reasonable price.

Replacement glass to patio doors and conservatory windows (DL5) The work was carried out in a timely manner and the workmanship was fantastic. Gareth did a wonderful job, I couldn’t be more pleased. Such a lovely chap too!

Roof light - replacement of a glazing unite due to a cracked outer pane (DH1) Gareth from Window Works made prompt contact after I placed the job onto Checkatrade and confirmed he could do the job within the next 48 hours. That worked for us and we confirmed the order. He has just finished the job and I couldn't be more pleased with his service. Gareth was not only prompt and professional but also meticulous about tidying up after completing the job. I highly recommend his services for anyone in need of glazing repairs. His efficiency and attention to detail are truly commendable.

Supplied and fitted gearbox lock mechanism to front door (DH1) I contacted Window Works as the door was at risk of getting stuck shut Gareth responded quickly and repaired the door the next day Great efficient service which mitigated the risk

Replace the clicking mechanisms of the PVC front door and the double patio doors. (DH9) Gareth was fantastic, came quick to give an estimate (I'm not far from Chester-le-Street). He gave a firm costing and it did not change. He came two days later to carry out the work, he has just left. Gareth was an absolute professional, the doors work great and I am very happy with the outcome. I can't recommend Gareth more, and I will be calling on him for any work I need in the future

External resealing of windows (DH6) Gareth was very personable and did a great job. Gareth kept us up to date with when the job could start due to the weather. Would have no hesitation recommending Gareth or using him again.

Doubleglaze window repair (DH1) Found Gareth on Checkatrade website, and he responded promptly. Could arrange for him to call at our place quickly to assess the situation, and give us a quote; accepted and completed the job within a short time. Good job, and no mess.

Just the job (DL16) Although running a bit late, the contractor did let me know. Came in and did a quick and successful repair job

Window cat flap fitting (DH7) Gareth got in touch quickly after I posted on the site, and gave a reasonable quote. Very friendly reliable service. Would definitely use him again ??

Replaced kitchen window (NE38) Very punctual and very pleasant. Job done without any problem

Repair of door lock (DH1) He was excellent and knew the job straight away

Realign conservatory doors. (DH6) Arrived promptly and set to work. He checked the overall hanging etc and advised they just need some adjustment. Took him about 20 minutes. Saves us a fair amount of money as the original installers were going to charge us £100’s to come out and do an assessment before even touching them. Thank you Gareth. You’re in our phone book now. Great job.
