This feels like a Travel Lodge. Clean and fairly comfortable but impersonal ☺ The property is conveniently positioned to visit family and Cambridge itself as well as Ely ☹ It felt impersonal. No welcome note or message from the owner/ manager. One review said continental breakfast in the stables but that was closed. Only 1 miniature milk was left for our 3 night stay. There’s a fridge and microwave with cutlery and plates but no cloth to wash dishes in the bathroom sink or tea towel. The term Willingham House Hotel B&B is misleading if no breakfast is available! Renovations are still ongoing but it was very quiet. Would we stay again? Yes I think so but a few more personal touches would make a big difference.

Pleasant ☺ The room we were allocated had wet bath towels in the bath and the panel was dislodged but after one phone call Richard upgraded our room which was much better. The property was easy to find and was good value.

Would’nt stop again, and did’nt xstop at Willingham House but in a building at the side. ☺ What breakfast ? Kitchenette consisted fo a 2 foot worktop with a microwave on top and a fridge underneath. There was crockery for 2 pewople ☹ The toilet pan and cistern moved , and the seat kept coming off.

Made the best of the situation we were not informed about and would not have chosen to stay here had we known. ☺ Accommodation was clean. ☹ The main house is in the middle of an ongoing renovation, a skip was positioned near the entrance to our accommodation. The accommodation is poorly soundproofed and our stay was constantly disturbed by noise from all the other guest rooms in the same building.

Comfortable clean place to stay, would definitely recommend! ☺ Very clean and well appointed. Stay was very comfortable. Clear instructions beforehand. There was parking, good WiFi and lovely hot water. ☹ If I had to be very picky, it would just be that the walls are very thin, so you can easily overhear what is happening in adjacent rooms.

Very Good ☺ Spacious room with sofa, almost all what a person needs on a holiday. really liked the design touch, someone gave a good thought decorating the space. Easy to find, really a great place to stay. Neat, seems refurbishment was recently done. ☹ Small things, like missing a sponge to wash the tableware, bit of a squeaky floor, lack of a pillow menu. We had some trouble with plumbing in our room, so not enough of hot water pressure was coming up, they tried to fix it ( and i can praise the attitude and willingness to solve the troubles). Ended up doing shower in the other room, with all working well there.

A fantastic location and property which felt very special to stay in. ☺ Excellent small apartment, perfect for my working stop over, staff were very friendly and helpful, I look forward to my next stay with them when I return.

Good building, good location, good room, great staff. ☺ Automatic check in so only spoke to staff over the phone but they were excellent, super efficient, helpful and friendly. ☹ would have liked a tv in the room but small detail.

The rooms were very comfortable, with excellent big baths, it was warm with plenty of space. ☺ The self serve continental breakfast was excellent, it was just lacking in washing facilities, such as a sink/napkins etc.
