Peter arrived on time, was courteous, and did an excellent job of weeding and putting out mulch. He also carried the bags of yard waste to the curb. He was also both fast and efficient in the way he got the job done.

I needed an antique bookcase, one that was not that large, under 6 feet. The move was from a church on Meeting Street downtown, where it had been, in loan from me, to Johns Island. This firm had no reviews, but they were quite responsive, gave a quote which seemed a bit expensive but one other company wanted three and a half times what this one did. So all of a sudden it was not that expensive. So, yes, I hired them. All went quite smoothly the day of the move with Jason and Peter showing up early. In watching them, they were very, very in moving it from the Carroll Building of the church into the van, and out to Johns Island. Yes, I recommend this company! You should know that they do moving but their business seems to be a handyman service doing all sorts of work.

This was the moving of an antique bookcase from Downtown Charleston to the house on Johns island. Jason and Peter handled it quite well with Jason arriving even before he was scheduled which was fine as I was at the church where the bookcase was located from where I had loaned it years ago. It was very, very carefully handled. Price? Less expensive although it was $250 but still cheaper than than another company which I contacted, who quoted a $900 flat fee. Yikes!

Pros:
The price was average.
The teenagers that showed up were nice and hard workers.
Cons:
They didn’t have a hand truck (thankfully I rented one from Uhaul because they would’ve never gotten the washer and dryer moved in a timely fashion.
They had basically zero clue how to pack a truck. I know this is a new company but you don’t offer packers to pack your truck then watch them pack it all low and not how it should be packed.
Thankfully, I text to company and said I need to speak to a manager immediately and within two minutes he called me and came out to oversee the rest of it and help them finish packing my truck. The manager didn’t move anything in the truck to remedy it but thankfully I had a 26 foot truck so I would have extra space that every inch of it ended up being used because of how the packing was done.
Very nice people but if I was still living in the area, I wouldn’t use them again as a moving company. But I know they offer other things that I didn’t try, for the fact of moving out of the state.
