Bought 4 hanging baskets and after 3 weeks one suddenly died. I contacted Singletons to see if they offered a plant guarantee. My wife and I are experienced gardeners for many years and we were told it was our fault. They not interested. I will not be visiting Singletons again but will trust in more reputable garden centers in the future.

Poor quality and customer service Ordered turf from this company. The first order was really sparce, so I had to buy extra grass seed to fill in the gaps. I tried to order a second lot online, but the website wouldn't load properly, I then phoned to speak to the lady in charge and she was rude and patronising. I ended up ordering a second lot and I laid it straight away, watering it every other day and most of it died. I contacted the company and sent photos to show how bad the turf was and they didn't correspond at all. Terrible customer service. Ended up having to remove all the turf and buy it elsewhere. Extremely dissapointed.

I must admit I do not have green thumbs, but the flowers were pristine and beautiful and the presentation was excellent. The best quality of this place is that all the staff are helpful, are happy to be helpful and generally just have really excellent character. Not an expert on this kind of thing, but 5* from me.

AVOID Poor quality imported plants dreadful aftercare AVOID Bought an expensive shrub, treated according to instructions and it died. Singletons just pointed me to their T&Cs offered no aftercare or help. Use other local decent Nurseries!

Topsoil delivery Ordered 2 tinnes if premium topsoil, which was delivered to the allotment first thing in the morning. Very helpful driver managed to drop the soul over the gate so as not to block the pavement. Very goid quality soil and a very happy customer

After waiting patiently for management to deal with the issue I’ve got no choice but to write something about the experience that I’ve had with them I ordered the premium soil and the delivery was nothing more than clay mood that I’ve paid £225 contacted them and after the phone call ended so did the customer issue very disappointed with the service and I will not use them again clearly they have robbed me

Disappointing. The menus were greasy and stained ans need replacing. I had to use a wet wipe after rifling through the box to find one thay wasn't too dirty. Poached eggs on the avocado on toast were rock hard as was the egg on the Gardener's breakfast. Bacon overcooked and the avocado had an unpleasant bitter taste. Avocado and eggs sent back and a refund willingly given. I mentioned the poor state of the menus and was told that they are wiped at the end of every day. They need replacing.

What a lovely garden centre and more. We visited Singletons after a friend recommended a visit was worthwhile. Not like the usual commercial garden centre's, a well laid out array of plants and shrubs. Plus a very pleasant Cafe, doing a range of snacks and hot drinks . I purchased an extendable gutters and fascia cleaner, at a reasonable price. I later had to revisit Singletons to get the extendable pole replaced, no problem the G.M. said and sorted out a new pole straight away. Great service many thanks.

Checked the website ahead of traveling, which said Singletons " no longer take bookings for parties between 1-5" and that it was walk-in service only. On arrival we were told there were no tables available as they were fully booked... Plenty of free tables in the room so clearly do take bookings for smaller parties?! Unclear and poor communication and disappointing to have made the journey for nothing.
