Below average buying experience
Just a bought a 2025 civic hybrid touring from them. Initially booked a black civic but with all of the recalls that Honda just put out, the salesperson John told me I could not get the black on my delivery date and all other colors were available and since I had already sold my current car and needed the new one ASAP, I decided to go with the blue as it was the only other dark color. The day before the delivery the salesperson John sends me pics of my car and I see that it has grey/white seats which I was not made aware of before. The black only comes with black seats and logically I assumed they will provide a car with black seats since I never requested for white/grey seats but they don't think the color of the seats is a big enough deviation to let the customer know apparently. After refusing delivery for the Blue with white/grey seats they asked me to choose another color since they don't have any blue with black seats either.
Ultimately had to go with a white car since I do not like any of the colors. Although white is okay for my taste but I went out to buy a dark colored car and had to take one that is farthest from my preference all because of the incompetence of Honda and this dealership. Also, They markup all cars with a 2000$ package that includes free windshield replacements, GPS etc. Most of these items are already in the car or available with an insurance. I managed to get these markups removed but they wouldn't sell the car without mats.
Now I have 240$ mats sitting at home because I never wanted them. Already bought aftermarket mats.
They make you sign an agreement that states you cannot pay off the financing before 6 months and if you do, you have to pay Westgate Honda a fine of 1000$. which is sort of Illegal since the Honda Financial Services Canada Website clearly states "All retail loans from HFS are open. You may pay the full balance at any time without prepayment penalties."

Brought my 2020 Ridge in for winter tires and to fix a few minor items. Parts had been ordered in. Roy, the mechanic, sought me out in the waiting room and showed me that the parts were overkill, and that a minor part costing much less would do. Really appreciate the thoughtfulness, and the customer orientated focus!

Westgate honda is an amazing dealership. I came here when London honda was not accommodating when my lease was ending. Westgate honda took me in ASAP within 10 mins I was in and out. Moustapha Khawaja was extremely quick, helpful and professional.

Unpleasant and crude Customer service representative. I Call 6 times no answer ore returned call . When finly wesited dealership I was. Unpleasantly patronize and almost yelled female attendant. I was only one customer and staff was an angaged with social chit chat.

Today i went at this Honda showroom hospitality was too bad no one care you are customer at all one of the guy with long and brown hairs he treated us like a normal person he only give us a test drive of one car after that i told him for another drive of another car he be like no and put kind of blaming to me in circumstances rather than knowing about the things and facilities so its my appeal for all the guys who see my review dont go on this showroom worst experience with them rather than this i had a very extraordinary experience with all showrooms like Volkswagen nissan etc. At last i also put the appeal to owner please put an eye on your staff.

I had an amazing experience with Westgate Honda! Their finance rep Moustopha Khwaja made the process of taking over a lease from my ex-wife incredibly easy and seamless. What I thought would be a stressful situation turned into a smooth and straightforward transaction thanks to Moustapha’s professionalism and support.
In contrast, my experience with London Honda was disappointing. They misled me and claimed it wasn’t possible to take over the lease, which caused unnecessary confusion. Tried to buy a 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid at Westgate late september. A day after a test drive and price negotiation, they then insisted the Security Package (expensive) be added...very disappointing! Couple days later, I bought the same vehicle in Woodstock without that Package and the car was in stock
